  • 10 Most Dangerous Beaches In The World

From a beach overrun with predatory sharks to the most undesirable and toxic beach in all of Europe – here are ten of the most dangerous and vile beaches on the planet!

    Subscribe For New Videos!

    10: Cape Tribulation
Cape Tribulation is one of the most volatile beaches in the entire world. It’s located in north Queensland, Australia, and is quite beautiful at first glance with its ancient rainforest and mangroves. However, almost everything at Cape Tribulation is out to kill you! The plants, wildlife, and even the water are all highly dangerous, making this one of the worst places to go swimming.

    9: New Smyrna Beach
New Smyrna Beach is known by some as the shark bite capital of the world. And according to lifeguard Captain Scott Petersohn, it really does live up to its reputation. In an interview with Petersohn, he claims that just recently there were at least three attacks in two days, and before that the beach saw two attacks within just fifteen minutes of one another. This area is notorious for shark activity, with up to 24 shark attacks happening in a single year.

    8: The Skeleton Coast
There are an estimated 500 ships scattered up and down the Skeleton Coast in Namibia, which is basically one of the longest stretches of beach in the world, where the Namibian desert meets the rioting waves of the sea. This beach isn’t necessarily dangerous to swim at – unless of course you accidentally cut your leg on a lost piece of scrap metal from a destroyed ship.

    7: Fraser Island
Fraser Island looks like a utopia on the outside, but it’s actually rife with dangers. Even though the island has pristine beaches, lush coastal bushlands, and rolling sand dunes, it has some of the most treacherous water in the world. The riptides at Fraser Island are insane and cause deadly swimming conditions.

    6: Hanakapiai Beach
Hanakapiai Beach is located on the island of Kauai, on the Na Pali Coast. It’s about 2 miles (3km) of pure danger. It has a high surf, violent shore breaks, and powerful rip currents that have swept many unsuspecting visitors to their death. One of the biggest issues at this beach is that you might not even see the currents before you’re already being dragged away.

    5: Boa Viagem Beach
The Boa Viagem urban beach is located in the Brazilian city of Recife, which just so happens to be the city in Brazil with the most shark attacks. It’s far out into the Atlantic, at the eastern edge of the New World. It’s actually closer to Africa than it is to the Western border of Brazil! It’s no surprise that at the eastern point of the country, a lot of sharks gather as they swim south from the Caribbean Sea.

    4: Hawaii’s New Beach
The beaches of Hawaii can be an extremely dangerous place, especially when you consider a volcano can erupt at any minute and turn your beach holiday into an apocalypse of fire and lava. When the Kilauea Volcano erupted back in May of 2018, it devastated a massive part of Hawaii’s biggest island.

    3: Da Loc Beach
At Da Loc Beach in Vietnam, you’ll find more trash and plastic than sand. This is one of the most disgusting and stinky beaches in the entire world, littered with plastic bottles, bags, furniture, and even some lovely plastic mannequin legs.

    2: Staithes Beach
Staithes Beach in the United Kingdom has been voted the worst beach in Europe, and for good reason. According to the Surfers Against Sewage, Staithes Beach has the worst bathing water quality in the whole of Europe, with swimmers at risk of acute diarrhea, e coli poisoning, meningitis, respiratory disease, rashes, hepatitis A, semolina infection, and even rashes.

    1: Playa Zipolite
Playa Zipolite translates from the ancient Zapotec language to mean ‘Beach of the Dead.’ And yeah, this makes sense considering how insanely dangerous swimming at this beach can be. Even though it was the first legal public nude beach in Mexico and was a popular destination for the hippies of the 1970s, there is no denying how dangerous the underwater currents are just off the shore.

10 Most Dangerous Beaches In The World

Summer time is always fun time! Time to go out and enjoy the sun and feel the warm sand of the
beach on your toes, and maybe also have a relaxing dive in the water.
The sun, sea, and sand all contribute to the bedazzling beauty of the beach.
However, certain beaches exist that do not fit into the description of bringing relaxation. If anything,
they would make you really uncomfortable and well, we would even advice that you stay clear of
    some of them.
These precarious beaches are known to be notoriously dangerous and hazardous. Several terrible
events have the potential of happening in these beaches. Dangers could vary from environmental to
natural perils, and from pollution to wild animals.
So, if you plan to enjoy a relaxing time on the beach sometime, then these beaches should probably
not be on your list. We present to you, the ten most dangerous beaches in the world.
    Let’s dive in!

    #10 – Cape Tribulation, Australia
Well, you can guess from the name of this Australian beach that there’s something quite troubling
about it. Its major predicament being the dangerous creatures that inhabit its otherwise beautiful
Located in northern Queensland in Australia is a welcome abode to several deadly
creatures such as the poisonous box jellyfish, venomous snakes, saltwater crocodiles, and a breed of
flightless giant birds known as cassowaries. These animals are all dangerous and aggressive
especially when they are provoked. They are also capable of inflicting injuries to humans
Another known danger in this area is what is known as the stinging trees. Yes, trees with stinging
hairs that cover the whole plant and when touched release a toxic and powerful neurotoxin to
There’s surely a whole lot of warning signs to stay away from this beach of tribulation and think
twice before swimming in its waters.

#9 – Bikini Atoll Beach, Marshall Islands
The Bikini Atoll Beach located in the South Pacific Island in Micronesia has an interesting history, and
maybe cartoon character, Spongebob Squarepants could have some lead on it since he lives in
    “Bikini Bottoms.”
Nonetheless, what we do know is that this beach served as a U.S. Marshall Island where the army of
the United States used it as a site to carry out several nuclear tests from 1946 to 1958. One of such
was the “Castle Bravo” test which was known as the biggest test explosion carried out by the U.S and
it left a huge impact, about a thousand times more powerful that that of the Hiroshima bomb. Now,
    that’s massive!
This stunning beach has therefore undergone a lot of radiation impact to its ecosystem. For instance,
as a result of the amount of contamination, fruits grown in the area are rendered unsafe for
consumption. The nuclear fallout also contaminated about 7,000 square miles of the area. It even
poisoned those who were inhabiting the neighboring islands and left Bikini Atoll unlivable. This could
probably explain the interesting and strange genetic composition of the fictional characters of “Bikini
    Bottoms” (wink)
Its beautiful beaches however, are still open to tourists as the area is relatively safer than they were
several decades ago. This has made the area popular, although several restrictions exist to guide the
    visiting tourists.

    #8 – Fraser Island, Australia
This is an Island of so many kinds of danger. From very strong rip currents to deadly creatures in the
water, this location surely fits into the perfect description of dangerous.
Fraser Island, located in Australia’s Eastern Queensland coast is known as the being the largest sand
island in the world, spanning approximately 123 kilometers (76 miles) and its width about 22
kilometers (14 miles). This island boasts of several eco-tourism sites including beaches and
swimming sites. However these beaches are known to be quite dangerous.
The hazardous state of the Fraser Island Beaches is seen in the wild currents of its sea as well as the
deadly creatures such as sharks and jellyfish inhabiting it. Well, if you think you can avoid danger just
by staying out of the water, well think again; because the beach sand itself is also peril-ridden.
Dangerous land creatures such as large crocodiles ,deadly spiders and the Australian Dingos (which
have been known to attack children) are seen roaming freely.

10 Most Dangerous Beaches In The World
A beach is always part of most people’s vacation plans. Can you think of a time when you didn’t venture out to the shoreline when you were out there letting loose? Chances are you won’t find any or few if any.
The feeling of the breeze against the skin is great and the relaxation that comes with gazing over a vast water surface is one you would trade a few things for.
But despite this, not all beaches offer this serenity as a standalone. Some come with an element attached. An element of danger which kind of defeats the whole purpose of hanging out there. Will you be comfortable being at a place where you know things might turn nasty anytime? We bet you would rather avoid it altogether.
And in today’s video, we show you the top 10 beaches that you'll be better off staying away from – if you know what’s good for you.
    #10 Kilauea, USA
The Kilauea beaches have one outstanding feature – they’re made up of black sands. Even though not unique to them, you’ll agree that it’s not every day you get black sand on a beach.
That alone is sure to land it on many people's bucket lists. But…
When you examine different factors about these beaches, you’ll rethink your decision to set foot here. For starters, the beaches are found in Volcanoes National Park. Does the name ring a bell?
Well, volcanoes aren’t always dangerous; that’s if they ceased their activity. But for the neighboring Mt. Kilauea, it’s far from dead. It’s been shooting molten lava into the ocean since 1983. The mountain is among the world’s most active volcanoes.
Typically, the temperature of lava ranges between 700oC to 1200oC. This poses two main risks to would-be sunbathers.
First off, the lava is going to heat the waters around to unbearably high temperatures. It’s reported that the water temperature around here reaches 110o C. That’s enough to strip off your flesh if at all you get caught in it as the lava lands.
Finally, there is no assurance that the lava will always head into the water. The U.S. Geological Survey says the vents can throw those rocks and lava quite some distance. If the prospect of swimming in 110oC doesn’t scare you, coming into contact with such hot material should.
    #9 Playa Zipolite, Mexico
Playa Zipolite is tucked away in the south of Oaxaca State, Mexico. The beach is rather secluded, a property that has made it popular with nudists who flock in to take advantage of the nude bathing area.
On the other hand, the beach is also popular for its riptides that have claimed many lives. The locals have even nicknamed the beach “Playa de Los Muertos” which translates to “Beach of the Dead”. Yes, it’s that serious.
So if you ever land on this beach, you may want to avoid the water altogether. Just soak in the sun, take a walk around and be on your way. Or if you have to dive, be sure to heed the warning flags erected to show the dangerous areas. Also, ensure the lifeguard team has their eyes on you just in case things go south.
The team was put in place back in 1995 to try and curb the drowning.
    #8 Gansbaai, South Africa
Gansbaai beach is found south of Cape Town, South Africa. It’s quite famous for the sheer number of sharks that spend their time in the nearby channel.

Who doesn’t enjoy beach time…paradise gateways under the sun, with sand
and sun-sets… But sometimes beauty comes with a price.
Some beaches are home to several hidden hazards and dangers that can
ruin your happy vacation. From beaches with most shark attacks to those
called dead, in today’s episode, we have collected the 10 most dangerous
    beaches in the world.
NUMBER 10: Cape Tribulation, Australia – Stingers Everywhere
Well from the name you might have guessed that something is troubling
    about this beach…
Australia is a beautiful country and offers an abundance of beaches. But
have you ever wondered these beaches might be lethal for your life?! Well,
to your surprise, it is true.
Located in northern Queensland, Australia, Cape Tribulation has a name
that may serve as a warning for many travelers. Cape Tribulation is full of
stingers that will sting you to death. The area is home to poisonous box
jellyfish, venomous snakes, crocodiles, and cassowaries, perhaps
the scariest birds in the world.  Cassowaries are large, flightless birds
related to emus, and can grow to weigh more than 160 pounds. When
provoked, cassowaries can be aggressive and capable of inflicting injuries.
Nothing is innocent here, not even the trees that are infamous for stinging!
When touched these trees release powerful toxins and neurotoxins to

humans. These are surely the signs of staying away from this bean

NUMBER 9: Gansbaai, South Africa - Home of Great White Sharks
Have you watched the incredible movie ‘Jaws ‘or the other one ‘Deep Blue
Sea’? If yes, then must be aware of how scary it is to come face to face
with the greatest predator of the world. If you haven’t, then just think what
would you do if you come across a shark one day? While that might sound
crazy, but that happens on Gansbaai beach almost every day.
Gansbaai, located on the western capes whale coast, has been called the
“Great White Shark Capital of the World” because of the increased number
of these dangerous predators found lurking off the coast. They take no time
    in attacking!
But why these sharks are attracted here? One reason for the attraction of
sharks to this area is the colony of 60,000 fur seals that so-called live in the
small channel of water between Dyer Island and Geyser Rock, which is also
called “Shark Alley.” Therefore, sharks have enough to feed on.
As dangerous as these waters can be, visitors can safely get up close to
these scary creatures by going cage diving with a reputable tour company.

NUMBER 8: Hanakapiai Beach, Hawaii – Monster of Rip currents

Your eyes will be ditched by the beauty that oozes out of this beach.
The glistening golden sands surrounded by black cliffs will call you to have
some relaxation but, BEWARE, the waters will soon turn into riptides!
Nestled in the Napali Coast of Kauai, Hanakapiai Beach is one of the most
dangerous places in the world to go swimming. This is because of the
powerful rip currents and waves that are known to sweep people out to sea.
Many swimmers are long gone somewhere with the dangerous tides.
The closest safe shore area is about six miles away. Due to these dangerous
conditions, it is reported that at least 83 people have drowned there over
    the years.

The so-called, Skeleton Coast is a 40 km wide and 500 km long coastal
stretch in Namibia. The skeletons here might be of humans…or might not
be, but definitely, innumerable ships have been destroyed at this coastline.
This is due to the thick fog, the rough seas, and the cold and unpredictable
Benguela Current of the Atlantic Ocean, which clashes with the dune and
desert landscape And, adding to the fear are the various species of shark
    present in the waters.
The name Skeleton Coast derived most probably from the huge numbers of
stranded whales that lost their life here and whose skeletons could be seen
all over the place. This beach is dangerous to swim in unless of course you
accidentally cut your leg on a lost piece of scrap metal from a destroyed
ship. The real danger is in the sand where there are dozens of wrecks half-

buried beneath the dunes that can make traversing the beach incredibly

10 Most Dangerous Beaches In The World
Beaches are the perfect place for a quick getaway or even a long vacation. And with the literally millions
of miles of coastlines the world has to offer, the choices are endless. But, whatever you do, don’t even
consider setting foot into any of these beaches. Especially the beach on number one, as getting back
from a swim in this beach alive is considered a miracle. Find out what that is and more as we give you 10
of the most dangerous beaches on earth.

    Number 10. New Smyrna Beach
Located on Florida’s Central Atlantic Coast, New Smyrna is a charming beach town rooted in local
culture, art and a beautiful, white sand shoreline. Known for its coastal architecture and personality,
New Smyrna Beach is a prime location for surfers as well as visitors looking for a laidback community
    filled with hidden adventures.
New Smyrna Beach, however, holds a more ominous title; the shark capital of the world. Since
somebody decided to keep tally of shark attacks back in 1882, New Smyrna beach has been the location
of over 240 separate shark attacks and the number is constantly rising. In 2008 alone, an incredible 24
shark bites and attacks were recorded at the beach.
Swimmers and surfers constantly come back to the area though and there seems to be one very good
reason for this; although a huge number of attacks have occurred, so far none of them have actually
been fatal. If you want to swim in safety though, New Smyrna Beach is definitely not for you.
Although Shark attacks have been less frequent of late, New Smyrna Beach still remains one of the
scariest beaches in the world. If you’re jonesing for a shark fix, stick to the Jaws ride at Universal Studios.

    Number 9. Dumas Beach
While most of the beaches on this list have earthbound reasons for being deadly, this next beach on our
list presents a danger that may possibly emanate from the afterlife, also, it’s the only haunted beach on
this list, as far as I know, the ONLY haunted beach in the world.
Located along the Arabian Sea, Dumas Beach is considered one of the most haunted places in Gujarat.
The beach is renowned for two things, one for its black sand giving it an ominous look, and the other for
    being extremely haunted!
It is said that Dumas Beach was once used as a Hindu burial ground and hence is possessed by several
haunting spirits that never left the region. Folklore explains that the existence of black sand is because
of amount of ash created by burning the dead which got mixed with white sand of the beach and turned
    dark in shade.
If reports are to be believed, several tourists and locals have gone missing from Dumas. Also, a man was
found dead on the beach with his tongue popping out. And there is absolutely no one who could explain
the reason behind all these mishaps.

People also claim that they heard weird sounds coming from the beach, like people laughing and
someone crying, even when there’s not a single soul present.

Number 8. Staithes Beach and Chowpatty Beach
I’ve decided to lump these two beaches together, like two turds one on top of the other, and you’ll soon
see why. While most of the dangerous beaches on our list are also some of the most beautiful, the
beaches on number 8 won’t win any beauty pageants. In fact, one look at these filthy bodies of water is
enough to deter any potential swimmers.
Staithes Beach is frequently on the EU's "swimming prohibited" list, this beach is known for its garbage.
Farm sewage drains into the harbor, raising the water pollution levels to an unsafe level. Swimming in
said waters can cause diarrhea, E. coli, meningitis, typhoid and hepatitis A.
Chowpatty, on the other hand, oddly enough is popular among tourists even though it is dangerously
polluted, with an ungodly combination of untreated sewage, garbage and sunken coal seeped into its
water and sand. This is one of the most toxic beaches not just in India, but in the entire world.

    Number 7. The Skeleton Coast
There is a very good reason for the Skeleton Coast’s ominous name. All along this terrifying beach in
Namibia, in southwestern Africa, you see the hulks of dead ships, ancient and modern. You cannot help
but reflect on the fate of the shipwrecked sailors. In many cases, what remains of their vessels now
stands far back from the sea, partly covered in sand.

  • 12 Most Dangerous Islands You NEVER Want To Visit!

Top most dangerous islands you don’t want to visit! These are the craziest and scariest islands and most dangerous islands you never want to visit!

    #5. “Saba”-- Netherlands Caribbean
If you are willing to brave the rocky but short twelve minute plane ride from St. Maarten to Saba, the smallest island in the Dutch Antilles you will be graced with a view like none other, a place that looks trapped in the ancient past. Upon arrival you will find a village nestled upon a volcano that is full of vibrant atmosphere with live music, family owned restaurants featuring fresh caught cuisine and plenty of outdoor activities like scuba-diving and hiking for nature lovers. But all this comes at a cost. You might say that the locals have become such experts at having a good time because at any moment it could all be destroyed. Tourists have been known to call it ‘The Unspoiled Queen of the Caribbean’ but it could be more accurately described as ‘Hurricane Island’. Because of its location right in the Atlantic’s hurricane alley, the island has been noted for being hit by the most hurricanes of any island on Earth. Despite the constant attacks that mother nature brings down upon Saba its people still find a way to survive and rebuild time and time again.

    #4. “Rockall”-- Ireland
The tiny 80 foot wide island known as Rockall which lies nearly three-hundred miles off of Scotland’s western shore has such an imposing presence it has made its way into Irish and Scottish legends as well as popular culture through music, books and television. People have long been entranced with its simple yet powerful structure with some ancient myths going as far to name it the location where the apocalypse will begin. The real life danger is in the fact that the island itself, is essentially a large granite rock sticking out of the ocean--the remnants of an extinct volcano. Because of its steep incline on all sides there is really only one place for a person to stand, the peak, which you can only get to if you are a skilled rock-climber. Even if you are it isn’t recommended that you try climbing the relatively short summit of 65 feet as the island is smack dab in the part of the ocean that boasts waves which reach upwards of 100 feet. Despite their being no natural value to the island other than its looks, Rockall was considered an extremely important strategic location by the United Kingdom who claimed the island in fear of it falling into the hands of the USSR and being used to house a missile silo. Britain’s claim to the island also has the historical distinction of being their last modern day territorial acquisition.

  • 8 Places You Should Never Swim In

There are lots of amazing outdoor swimming areas in the world. Some of them are safe and protected with lifeguards watching over you while you swim, bathe, dive off rocks, and play in the water. But some beaches are not just unsafe — they’re outright dangerous! Here are 8 places where you should never attempt a swim if you treasure your health and life.

    Blue Holes 1:03
    Colorful Pools 2:15
    Laguna Caliente 4:18
    Nyiragongo Crater's Lava Lake 5:16
    Pink Lake 6:19
    New Smyrna Beach 8:12
    Frying Pan Lake 9:22
    Eagle's Nest Sinkhole 10:22

    - Most blue holes are open to the public. However, some of the biggest ones have acquired a really bad reputation among divers.
    - It's hard to believe that nature created something as colorful as the thermal pools located in Yellowstone National Park. They look like something from another world: bright, beautiful...and deadly.
    - Laguna Caliente is located in Costa Rica and differs dramatically from its sibling, Botos Lake. These 2 bodies of water are crater lakes of the Poas Volcano.
    - Mount Nyiragongo, which is situated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is an active volcano. Its last eruption took place in 2002. In its crater, there's a lake. But it’s not your typical lake.
    - Lake Hillier in Western Australia is indeed as pink as it looks. This is a shallow salt lake that’s beautifully edged with white salt formations and surrounded by eucalyptus forests.
    - New Smyrna Beach has been called the “Shark Capital of the World” by the International Shark Attack File. In 2008, almost 40% of all shark attacks on the planet happened in this region.
    - If you look at the photo of Frying Pan Lake in New Zealand, you might think that there's fog hanging low over the water. Similar fog (or, more precisely, steam) forms over warm water on a cold morning.
    - Eagle's Nest Sinkhole is a body of water in Florida that looks like an ordinary pond. It’s only when you get into the water that it gets dangerous. Beneath the lake, there's a huge system of underwater caves with rooms and passages that spread for miles.

Indonesia’s Sinabung volcano in north Sumatra has been highly active since its first confirmed Holocene eruption during August and September 2010. It remained quiet after the initial eruption until September 2013, when a new eruptive phase began that continued uninterrupted through June 2018. Ash plumes often rose several kilometers, avalanche blocks fell kilometers down the flanks, and deadly pyroclastic flows traveled more than 4 km repeatedly during the eruption.

After a pause in eruptive activity from July 2018 through April 2019, explosions took place again during May and June 2019. The primary hazards of eruption of Mount Sinabung include the hot clouds, lava flows, and volcanic ash and rocks. The hot clouds of Sinabung volcano eruption have killed many people in the past years. It’s clearly a place you shouldn’t put on your vacation list.

The legend of the Bermuda Triangle began with the unexplained disappearance of a group of military planes carrying 14 men off the coast of south Florida in December 1945. “We are entering white water, nothing seems right,” the flight leader supposedly said before they lost radio contact. Thirteen more servicemen sent to search for the missing fliers also vanished. They have linked other mysterious disappearances and encounters to the area of ocean that is a triangle anchored by Bermuda, Florida and Puerto Rico.

Two British South American Airways passenger planes disappeared in the area a year apart in 1948 and 1949. No explanations or wreckage were ever found. Victims credited to the area in many books and documentaries have included a large oil tanker, a pleasure yacht and a small passenger plane. Books, including “The Devil’s Triangle,” “Limbo of the Lost,” and “The Riddle of the Bermuda Triangle,” suggest supernatural explanations. Aliens in spaceships, wormholes and the mythical lost continent of Atlantis have been blamed.

Chand Baori one was built during the 8th and 9th centuries and has 3,500 narrow steps arranged in perfect symmetry, which descend 20m to the bottom of the well. Centuries ago, the stepwells were built in the arid zones of Rajasthan to provide water all year through. Today, the construction is not used as a well anymore but its exquisite geometry attracts local and international visitors alike.

About 64 feet deep, it is India’s largest and deepest stepwells with 13 floors and was built in the 9th century for water harvesting. It was so named as it was built by King Chand Raja from the Gujara Pratihara clan, who claim to be the descendant of Lord Ram’s younger brother Laxman. The Pratihara dynasty was at its peak during the 6th-10th century AD, and also ruled over other parts of Rajasthan. Their capital was Mandore near Jodhpur. The board has a precise geometrical pattern, hard to find in this age.

The steps form a magical maze and the consequent play of light and shadow on the structure gives it a captivating look. It has an enclosed rectangular courtyard kind of structure. Upon entering you reach a jharokha. Descending the stairs on the left, you can see the cavernous baori narrowing towards the bottom, crisscrossed with double flights of steps on three sides to reach the water surface down below. The stairs encircle the water on the three sides while the fourth side boasts of a Pavillion with three stories with beautifully carved jharokhas, galleries supported on pillars, and two projecting balconies enshrining beautiful sculptures.

Kimberley, South Africa, is home to the world’s largest diamond mine, also known as the “Big Hole.” Dug by humans and so large it is visible from space; the pit has yielded some of the world’s largest diamonds and made the De Beers name famous worldwide. At Kimberley visitors can view a 17-minute movie about the location and the history of diamond mining in Africa

They also get to walk out on a high platform to view The Big Hole, take a ride down a faux mining shaft, enter a locked vault to view genuine diamonds of all colors, and visit a small museum. Nearly 15 million diamonds were extracted from the Kimberley Diamond Mine, discovered in 1871. Excavation ended in August 1914.

5 Most Dangerous Beaches In The World! #2

Beaches are often times places we go in order to get away from all of the strife’s of life. Tranquil destinations that allow us to put the pressing matters of our everyday lives on hold, sometimes with an adult beverage or two, sometimes with a good book, and sometimes just catching some z’s under the sun. But as you’ll learn today not all beaches are as simple as – well, a walk on the beach. So to speak. That was bad, I know. Anyway today Top 5 Supreme will bring you the 5 Most Dangerous Beaches in the World! Before we get started with today’s video don’t forget to click the bell to get notified every single day with the BEST Tops you’ll ever see! Let’s get rollin!

    #5 Reunion

What’s been called the deadliest island in the world, Reunion, floats 2100 miles off the coast of South Africa. In the last 7 years there have been more shark attacks here than anywhere else on the planet, and by a very wide margin. There have been over 20 attacks and 9 fatalities since 201. Almost 15% of the earth’s fatal shark attacks over the last 8 years have happened just off the shores of this 40 mile island. Open water swimming and surfing has been banned in most areas since 2013, yet hungry ocean goers often overlook the rule. Island natives and government officials continue to search for the best solutions to deal with this deadly problem.

    #4 Cape Tribulation

Cape Tribulation is located in northern Queensland, Australia, and it’s name has been said to serve as a warning to incoming travelers. Jellyfish, venomous snakes, crocodiles and cassowaries – large flightless birds native to the island, and that attack when they threatened with long, clawed talons – all occupy the beach. The unique birds grow to weigh over 160 pounds! Jellyfish attacks are common here, and visitors are warned with bright yellow signs throughout the beach.

    #3 New Smyrna

Whenever you see signs on a beach that read ‘Warning, dangerous marine life’, you’d better pay special attention when you’re in the water. What some people call ‘shark bite capital of the world’, this Florida beach is one of the most notable places on the planet for shark attacks. Since records began back in 1882, New Smyrna beach has notched over 240 separate shark attacks, and in 2008 alone 24 shark bites and attacks were recorded by swimmers. What’s even more incredible is that while massive numbers of attacks have been recorded, astonishingly none of them have been fatal.

    #2 Heard Island

Heard Island is owned by Australia, but it’s actually closer to Antarctica. With the frigid conditions, at first glance, you probably wouldn’t consider this as a pristine surfing destination. Hypothermia is a real threat and is often reported by people who come to take on the icy waves. So, why surf here? The waters are life threateningly cold, most times under 40 degrees Fahrenheit. But apparently, the extreme surfing experience is enticing to the sports veterans and thrill seekers alike. More power to them! One of the cool facts about Heard Island is that it’s actually a volcano, and that is just another attractive quality for tourists seeking new places to travel.

    #1 Playa Zipolite

In Southern Mexico, Playa Zipolite has the damning nickname ‘The Beach of the Dead’. With a name like that you’d think people would stay away, wouldn’t you? The beautiful scenery on the isolated beach distracts tourists though, and as long as they stay in the sand they’ll normally be ok. The water though is another story. Swimmers have regularly drowned here because of a unique and very strong undercurrent caused by its huge waves. So many people died that locals were prompted to enact a new, specially trained lifeguard unit. Since the inception of the highly trained guards in 1995 the number of drowning’s per year has been cut in half, however it is still strongly suggested to only swim in the designated open water times and to never venture out anywhere alone. As you can see the world’s beaches can offer beauty and pain. It’s easy to get caught up in all the pleasantries of an evening in the water, but just remember, always pay attention to warning signs. And it’s always a good idea to adhere to the warnings of the locals. And that is today’s list! Thanks for watching today's video. • 30 Most Dangerous Beaches in the World

When you’re planning a vacation, you’re probably not thinking about the world’s most dangerous beaches. Most people look forward to a day at the beach. The thought of relaxing on the sand, working on your tan, and casually dipping in and out of the azure blue water sounds perfect.

Not all beaches are quite so relaxing though. Sometimes you could find yourself face-to-face with some of the world’s most dangerous creatures, like sharks, crocodiles, and jellyfish. The risks aren’t always only in the water either. Poisonous snakes, poisonous spiders, lions, and hyenas are a few of the land-locked dangers you could face.

But even if you’re willing to put up with local predators, some beaches have more man-made dangers to contend with. Nuclear radiation, crime, pirates, and war zones are a few of the troubles you could land in on some of the world’s beaches.

In this video, we’re going to look at 30 of the world’s most dangerous beaches. These sandy destinations span the globe, from Australia to Europe, Russia, and the United States. Some of the dangers are local to certain areas, with Australia leading the pack for many local predators, while some of the man-made dangers can pop up anywhere. Such as the sewage and garbage at the U.K.’s Staithes Beach or the nuclear radiation at Bikini Atoll and Russia’s Schitovaya Bukhta Beach.

If you’re planning a beach vacation, make sure you check your plans against this list to be sure you’re not stepping onto one of the world’s most dangerous beaches without realizing it.

Let us know which of the 30 sounds the most horrifying to you in the comments after you finish watching. And like and subscribe to our channel down below so you don’t miss any of the interesting and exciting videos we’ve got coming up.
