A lot of things happen on Earth, but there are still some things that just don't ever happen here. But, that doesn't mean that what's impossible here is impossible everywhere else in the universe. Whether it's clouds that rain rocks or glass, wind that's 29 times faster than sound, having 2 shadows or even being able to fly in some places, this is a collection of some of the most ridiculous places that we know of so far in our strange universe.

This video was done in a collaboration with Second Thought, and you can check out his video here!

    If you're curious about flying on Titan and the research into that, I've attached a paper written by the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Leicester dated October 22nd 2013 which goes into a lot more detail than I could afford. Here it is;

  • Impossible Things That Can Happen On Other Planets!

    14:00

From planets with strange weather phenomenon, to ones with little light, join us as we show you 10 impossible things that happen on other planets.
    10. Raining Glass
In terms of defining impossible, we need to clarify it in saying that we think this means having things happen that don't happen on our own Earth. To that end, HD 189733b is one of the strangest planets in existence and features a feat that no one likely thought possible, likely, or even desired. For you see, this is a planet that rains glass...sideways.

No, this is not a trick, or something seen in a sci-fi movie.

Because of the buildup of silica, as the rains come down on the planet, it hardens (not unlike condensation from water to ice at times on Earth), and thus become glass. So well and truly, glass can truly rain down from the skies above. Now, as for the other part...
The winds on HD 189733b are far beyond anything Earth or many other planets that in the universe could do. They're so powerful that they can be up to 5400 miles per hour.
    9. Two Suns, Two Shadows
This particular planet has been documented as many things over the years, not the least of which is a Real-Life Tatooine. For those who somehow don't understand this reference, it's a planet from the movie series Star Wars. In the first film, Luke Skywalker lives on the planet Tatooine, which happens to have two suns in the sky. This is because it actually orbited two different stars.
For the longest time, this was though, this was felt to be impossible, mainly because the gravitational forces required to allow such things would be enormous and infinitely precise. Yet, Keplar 16-B does just that.
And, because of its two suns, it actually has something else impossible about it. Mainly, two shadows. Confused? If you were to go outside right now, you would only have one shadow because of the sun above you. But if you were to go to Keplar 16-B, the two different suns would cast two very different shadows for you because there are two light sources there.
. Also, there's no Oxygen to breathe, so that'll put a downer on things.

    8. Dark World
Where would we be without the sun?
Yet, out there in the universe right now is a planet that has such a dense and unique composition that it doesn't reflect any light that is projected at it, making it a literal Dark World. As in one where light doesn't really exist on it. This is the planet called TrES-2b.
    true exotic amongst exoplanets.”
Now here's the catch of the matter. Despite us knowing that it is indeed a Dark World.
    7. Water World
They say on Earth that the masses of land that lie beneath the waves are another world. And certain movies have dreamt of things that could leave under those waters. But out in space is a planet called GJ1214-B that is far beyond the notion of a water world, it because is a full-on water world.
    6. Extreme Hot, Extreme Cold, One Planet
When it comes to Earth, there are many areas that are known for being extreme in terms of their natures, conditions, or weather effects. But Gliese 581 c is one that takes the notion of extreme and ratchets it up quite a bit.
    5. 22,000 MPH Winds
We've already shown you a planet where its winds are so intense that they cause glass to rain sideways, and those winds went up to 5400 MPH. But what if I told you that this wasn't the most intense winds in the universe. Would you believe me? You better, because on the planet HD189733-b, the winds are the most intense in the known universe.
    4. Raining Rocks
    what about kepler?
This next planet is one where you would definitely need to watch your head. For corot 7b is another planet that is tidally locked with the star that it is near.
    3. Methane Lakes
While not a planet per se, the moon of saturn known as Titan is one of the most bizarre entities in all of the universe despite it being so close to Earth. O
But here's the rub, the natural temperature on Titan is around -179 degrees Celsius, this causes all sorts of problems and impossible situations that Earth itself can't have on its own.
    2. Shrinking Planet
Mercury is the first planet in our solar system, and it's also one that has a very unique nature to itself that you may not realize. Mercury is often considered off limits in terms of missions because of its proximity to the sun. The temperature of the planet various from hundreds of degrees below zero to hundreds of degrees in terms of heat. But, what might surprise you to learn is that the planet is actively shrinking.
    1. Egg-Shaped Planet

If I was to tell you to draw a picture of a planet, I would bet that just about all of you would draw a circular one. This is the standard shape of a planet as we have seen in our own universe. However, the same cannot be said for the planet known as wasp 12b. It is not circular at all, but rather, has an oval shape that makes it very unique among the planets.

  • Something Impossible Could be Happening on Other Planets

    3:45

Human beings have always had one question in common. Are we alone in the universe?
Whatever the answer is, it's probably gonna be scary.

For many years now, the search for life on other planets has not been successful, at least not in the little that humanity has researched.

But what would you think, if you found out that on the farthest planets, they could be ruled by super-intelligent, evolved dinosaurs? Well, believe it or not, some scientists have approached this theory.

Could there be intelligent dinosaurs on other planets?

Some writers and scientists have suggested the idea of the existence of intelligent dinosaurs on other planets. They have even raised the possibility of the existence of humanoid dinosaurs on earth if they had not become extinct.

There are many strange things we do not understand about our universe, with black holes, dark matter and a whole bunch of weird sights and sounds out there that we just can't figure out.

Narration provided by JaM Advertising New Mexico

TrES-2b is what space scientists call a Hot Jupiter, and this isn't because they like zit-shaming our local gas giant with its unsightly red spot.

Since everything that exists in our universe is thought to have been created inside a star, you may think this entry sounds a little pointless.

If diamonds are a girl's best friend then we'd better start shipping our ladies off to 55 Cancri e, because this world which is 40 light years away is comprised of so much diamond that if you mined them all you'd own 26.9 nonillion dollars-worth of shiny rappers' delight.

Wasp 18b reminds me a lot of Hugh Hefner.

Ever since Pluto was cruelly dropped to the bench it's seemed like we've been one planet short of a solar system, which sounds like a particularly cruel way of describing Kanye West right now.

  • Dislocker : 5 Strangest Things That Can Happen On Other Planets

    9:21

5 Planets with unimaginable conditions. You may think that planets out there in the universe are physically inactive, and earth is the only one with weird happenings taking place, but that's not true. Earth is actually a very calm place in comparison to the rest of the places in the universe. If you want to see how horrible are conditions on the other planets, just watch them out!

A planet where you can fly, a planet where it rains rocks, and another one where it rains glass, a planet covered all over with water and bears ice which is not cold. There are lots of more surprises in the universe, as we go more and more deeper into the space.

So far we have uncovered these 5 planets with unimaginable scenarios. These planets are scary, yet entertaining and really interesting and amazing - all at once!

Here are the important points covered inside:

    1. Planet which revolves around two stars and where two shadows of every object are formed at the same time.

    2. A planet where rocks evaporate then rain as chunks of rocky pieces.

    3. A planet where silicate is in so much abundance in the atmosphere that it literally rains glass.

    4. Titan - the natural satellite of saturn where you can literally fly if you used wings.

    5. Planets where stoms blow at supersonic speeds.

These are strange we can not imagine or understand. But universe is far more a mysterious place than we could ever imagine. These planets are the significant takeaways from the past researches of the astronomers.

  • 9 Earth-Like Planets We Can Move On Right Now

    10:13

What planets can people live on? You might be happy to learn that 8.8 billion Earth-sized planets have been discovered so far. Over 30 of those planets in our Milky Way galaxy are very likely to be habitable to human being. Scientific teams have been hard at work trying to discover habitable planets. We don’t know if any of those planets hold extraterrestrial life, but we’ll worry about that when we get there!

    TIMESTAMPS:
    Kepler-62e 1:26
    Kepler-62f 2:10
    Kepler-186f 3:05
    KOI 7711.01 4:08
    Kepler-22b 4:57
    Gliese 581g 5:47
    Ross 128 b 6:47
    Proxima b 7:40
    TRAPPIST-1e 8 :20

    #earthlikeplanets #earthtwin #kepler

    Music:

    SUMMARY:
    - 1,200 light-years from Earth, the Kepler spacecraft discovered the Kepler-62 system. Kepler-62e is an exoplanet, believed to be a water world.
    - Kepler-62f is neighbor to Kepler-62e, and they are the only 2 habitable planets in the Kepler-62 system. A study showed that Kepler-62f is most likely covered entirely in water.
    - It is possible that Kepler-186f has an atmosphere that can keep the water on its surface a liquid, which is a must-have for life on Earth as we know it. Since Kepler-186f orbits a star that is cooler than the sun, we’d all be much colder than on Earth (if we were to live there).
    - A little farther away than the Kepler system, at 1,700 light-years away, we encounter KOI 7711.01. It has been called “Earth’s twin,” and it’s only 30% larger than Earth. Like Earth, it orbits a sun-like star.
    - Kepler-22b is 2.4 times larger than Earth, and it also orbits a sun-like star. That’s why it has a comfortable temperature of 72ºF, so you can expect to feel toasty but not too hot.
    - Gliese 581g was discovered in September 2010, and it is only 20 light-years away! It’s thought to be even more Earth-like than Kepler-22b in that it could be a better home to plants and animals.
    - They say that Ross 128 b is in “Earth’s backyard” because it is only 11 light-years away. Ross 128 b was discovered in 2017.
    - Proxima b is 1.3 times the size of Earth. It is the closest temperate world to Earth, which means that if you were to travel there, you’d experience almost the same temperature as on Earth.
    - 40 light-years away, we encounter the TRAPPIST system. NASA announced this major discovery in 2017. The TRAPPIST-1 system holds 7 planets, all Earth-sized and all habitable, surrounding a single star.

    SUMMARY:
    - It's common knowledge that you can't survive without water for longer than 3 days. But kangaroo rats can keep going way longer, as in years!
    - Plumed basilisk lizards have an uncanny ability to run on water! Their hind feet are equipped with long toes which have fringes of skin that can spread out in water.
    - The cardinal fish has been called firework-spitting for a reason! That's why the fish spits the Ostracods out, which looks as if it breathes out bursts of bluish fire!
    - There is a particular jellyfish species spread throughout the world's oceans which can live forever! When the creature reaches the end of its life, it transforms back into its polyp state and, thus, restarts its life cycle over and over again.
    - The animal world has its own analogy of Spiderman, and that's the gecko lizard. This critter has a marvelous ability to climb up all kinds of vertical surfaces and can even go for a walk on the ceiling.
    - A 1-inch-long sub-tropical shrimp disorients its prey with... a sonic boom! Despite its modest size, the pistol shrimp is one of the loudest marine animals. When the shrimp snaps its claws, it creates a noise as loud as a sonic boom.
    - Opossums are known for their handy trick of playing dead when a predator attacks them. But that's not the end of the story. These critters are also immune to snake venom!
    - Living under the harsh African sun, hippos secrete a sweat-like red oily substance which evaporates and keeps the animals' bodies cool.
    - Meerkats have dark patches around their eyes which makes them look even cuter. They also function as built-in sunglasses.
    - In their attempts to attract a mate, lyrebird males can mimic the sounds of 20 other bird species as well as some artificial sounds.
    - The alpine ibex from northern Italy can climb nearly any vertical surface, defying several physical laws in the process.
    - The axolotl not only can they regrow their limbs, but they can also regenerate complex organs like the brain or the heart.
    - Salmon can sense the magnetic field of the planet and use this knowledge if they get lost.
    - When the bombardier beetle feels threatened, it sprays scorching liquid from the tip of its abdomen with a loud popping sound.
    - Fleas can be really annoying, but it doesn't make them any less amazing. These tiny critters can leap more than 200 times their body length.
    - Some species of millipedes produce hydrogen cyanide and exude it when they feel threatened. One little millipede can't seriously hurt you, but you may have burns or even blisters if your skin is overly sensitive.

  • 10 Scientifically Impossible Places That Actually Exist

    11:00

The Seven Wonders of the Natural World may have been named too quickly. Wonders like The Grand Canyon and Victoria Falls are certainly big, and anyone who sees them will surely be impressed—but sheer size isn’t enough to truly leave a person in awe.
There are other places in this world, though, that are far stranger. Places that seem almost alien, as if they could only exist on a planet that evolved separately from our own. These are places that scientists have had to struggle just to understand how they ever could have been formed. Places that will truly make you wonder—not just because they’re beautiful, but because they seem to follow scientific laws that don’t exist anywhere else on earth. Here are 10 Scientifically Impossible Places That Actually Exist

    8. Storms As Wide As Earth
Known as “Great White Spots,” these giant storms resemble the same thunderstorms we experience on Earth, except they’re much larger and stretch across the entire planet, alternating between the equator and mid-latitudes. Since being discovered in 1876, Great White Spots have occurred six times on Saturn, happening every 20 to 30 years.

    7. Raining Diamonds
A rainshower of diamonds - I bet a lot of people wish they could get their hands on that!! Except, it happens on Uranus and Neptune and these two planets are billions of miles away. The chance that their gems will be harvested, at least during our lifetime, is slim to none. It’s still pretty neat, though, right?

    6. Jupiter’s Great Red Spot
There’s a mega storm raging on Jupiter. It’s been continuously observed since 1830, but similarly reported sightings from as long as 350 to 400 years ago are believed by some researchers to be of the same storm. On the other hand, some scholars believe that the storm observed during the 1600s and 1700s was a different one than the one occurring today. Will we ever know for sure? Probably not. Regardless, a storm that has likely been going on for 400 years is quite impressive!!

    5. Greenhouse Effect from Hell
It’s no secret that Venus is the solar system’s hottest planet, with an average temperature of 735 Kelvin, or 462 degrees Celsius. With a surface hot enough to melt lead and an atmospheric pressure 92 times greater than that of Earth, it also sounds like the solar system’s most uncomfortable planet.

    4. Explosions in the Sky
Speaking of Venus, it has a lot more going on!! Despite being nearly the same distance from the sun as Earth, Venus is 100 times hotter and its days are 200 times longer than ours. Its atmospheric pressure is similar to that of diving 3,000 feet beneath our ocean’s surface. Venus also lacks a magnetic field, unlike Earth, and this at least partially affects the sun’s impact on the planet.

    3. Supersonic Methane Winds
On Neptune, it doesn’t just rain diamonds. Winds on the “blue planet” travel faster than the speed of sound. Neptune is the furthest planet from the sun - unless you cling steadfastly to the outdated belief that Pluto is a planet, of course - and has the strongest winds in the entire solar system.

    2. Megastorms
In 2014, the typically placid planet of Uranus experienced a bizarre surge of mega storms, making it the planet’s stormiest year on record. The planet had become more active in 2007, when the sun shone directly on its Equator. As a result of this effect, scientists accurately predicted a particularly stormy year, but they didn’t foresee the chaos that would occur seven years later.

    1. Nitrogen Ice Clouds
With an average temperature of minus 315 degrees Fahrenheit, the coldest place in our solar system is represented by Triton, one of Neptune’s 13 moons. In fact, it’s believed by some scientists that Triton and Pluto are similar in composition and may have shared origins.

Origins Explained is the place to be to find all the answers to your questions, from mysterious events and unsolved mysteries to everything there is to know about the world and its amazing animals!

    SUMMARY:
    - What’s interesting about this waterfall is that it has 2 different bodies of falling water. One side has water falling into another body of water, Lake Superior; the other one has water that falls straight into a huge natural hole in the ground. Where does this water lead? No one seems to know!
    - While today we have machines that can help us lift heavy materials to build giant buildings and monuments, back in the days when Stonehenge was built, no one had access to this type of technology.
    - In Hessdalen Valley, brightly colored lights appear in the sky in different colors and shapes. For the last 4 decades (and possibly longer!), this phenomenon has continued to puzzle scientists.
    - Deep in the Amazon rainforests lies a flowing river in the forested region of Mayantuyacu that boasts temperatures so hot that any person or animal that falls into it literally boils alive from the inside out.
    - Movile Cave, located in Southeastern Romania, remained closed in complete darkness for a whopping 5.5 million years! Scientists carved out an opening to the cave and found that a completely sustained ecosystem was thriving inside!
    - Circles of Namibia are almost perfect and range anywhere from 10 to 65 ft in diameter. Many scientists have offered up theories as to why these circles appear instead of other more random shapes.
    - But in Western Venezuela, over the mouth of the Catatumbo River, there’s a lightning storm that seems to be running on Energizer batteries — it just keeps going and going! Once the clock strikes 7 PM, the lightning storm begins and doesn’t relent for another 10 long hours.

  • Most Extreme Planets In The Galaxy

    13:05

    THESE PLANETS ARE WEIRD!

Humanity has long looked up into the night sky and wondered what all those twinkling lights above us really were. With the discovery of the telescope we began to identify these far-off lights as other suns, and soon mankind began to imagine what worlds may lie in the vast void of space. Could there possibly be worlds with life just like ours, or perhaps life that we might not even recognize- where there even planets around these far-off stars in the first place?
It wasn't until 1988 that humanity discovered its first exoplanet, and with the launch of the Kepler space telescope not only have we confirmed the existence of exoplanets, but have discovered thousands of them, and some of them are truly like nothing anyone ever imagined!
Hello and welcome to another episode of The Infographics Show- today we're taking a look at the most extreme planets discovered so far in our galaxy!

  • 5 Deadly Planets

    4:40

As long as man has looked up into the stars, we have dreamed of space exploration and discovering other worlds around us. The Solar System is but a small patch compared to the vast universe that surrounds us. With so many planets and galaxies in an endless sea of stars and blackness, one has to wonder whether we are alone or if inhabiting other planets will ever be possible. Ever since we have been able to take off in rockets into space, more research than ever has been done on our neighboring planets. NASA has recently released another Mars Rover onto the red planet as a way to research whether Mars would ever be inhabitable as an alternative to Earth. The other planets around us such as Venus, Neptune, and Jupiter have all been studied as well using information that is sent back from satellites that were launched. What information came back was fascinating, and yet disturbing at the same time. In this video are five deadly planets that are good neighbors without own home planet.
Venus is known as Earth’s evil twin, and we wouldn’t survive longer than a second on this planet, as the gravity is 100 times more intense that Earth. Venus is also the hottest planet in our Solar System, so that is two things that could kill us alone should we ever attempt a visit. The clouds of Venus also double as an energy vacuum that sucks infrared energy and trap it onto the planet, making Venus so elevated in temperature.
Mars has been making mainstream news frequently as of late thanks to all of the research that NASA has dedicated to the red planet. Recently, thanks to the Mars Rover, evidence of water has been discovered, which implies that Mars can sustain life, or had supported life at one point. Obama even made statements during press conferences that he hopes to be able to make Mars habitable very soon. There are even people who are competing for a spot to live on Mars, even though it means they may never return to Earth. However, the extreme temperature changes and dust storms that occur on the planet make Mars impossible to live on right now. Temperatures can drop as low as -73 degrees on the planet, and the storms can last for months on end.
On Jupiter, winds go both west and east, and can reach speeds of over 400 miles per hour. If you can manage to get on Jupiter, you won’t survive very long, as the atmosphere is extremely deadly given that 89.8% of the atmosphere is made up of hydrogen and over 10% made up of helium. There has also been a storm brewing on the planet that is several times bigger than Earth.
It is rather stressful to think that Earth could become any of these planets in the next few thousand years, or even an instant. All it takes is a slight shift in the galaxy. To find out what are the rest of the most deadly planets, then keep watching the video and prepare to be enlightened.

Our Planet is a British nature documentary series made for Netflix. The series is narrated by David Attenborough and produced by Silverback Films, led by Alastair Fothergill and Keith Scholey, who also created BBC documentary series Planet Earth, Frozen Planet and The Blue Planet, in collaboration with the conservation charity World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

The series addresses issues of conservation while featuring these disparate animals in their respective home regions, and has been noted for its greater focus on humans' impact on the environment than traditional nature documentaries, centering around how climate change impacts all living creatures. It is the first nature documentary Netflix has ever made. All episodes were released on 5 April 2019. A behind-the-scenes documentary was released onto Netflix on 2 August 2019. Netflix reported that 25 million households were expected to watch the series during its first month of release

5 Unbelievable Things That Can Happen On Other Planets

It's actually really easy to think of space as boring. The planets in our own solar system all seem to be empty rocks or balls of gas, and you find a whole lot of nothing before you get to the next star. In this video we see 4 Most Mind-Blowing Things Ever Discovered in Space.

    A Gigantic Rain Cloud.
Here's another thing you never see in space movies: water. The Millennium Falcon doesn't have windshield wipers. The Enterprise's huge display screen doesn't get fogged up because they flew through a space cloud. If you saw that in a sci-fi movie (with the pilot all Damn, I can't see due to all of this space rain!), you'd laugh your ass off. Have these people even been to space?

    Lightning.
Scientists have known for a while that lightning isn't unique to Earth. They've observed lightning on Mars and Saturn. What they didn't know is that lightning could occur in the middle of goddamn space, with a force equal to a trillion lightning bolts, or to use the proper scientific terms, 50 million fucktons of electricity.

    A Cold Star.
When you get into the science of it, you realize that you were even more right than you thought: The surface of the sun is about 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit, and several thousand times hotter than that at the core. So, yeah, the one thing we know about stars is that you don't ever want to try to land on one, unless you want to instantly burst into flame.

The Gargantuan Blob from the Beginning of Time.
We're taught in school that we're all time travelers of sorts. We're told that the sunlight all around us originated over eight minutes ago, and that just by looking up into the sky we're glancing into the past. What you probably didn't know is that as telescopes get stronger, the images that are coming back are getting freakier.

Hope you already learn what it is. If you want know more about this topic then comment with us. If you like this video please subscribe the channel to get daily update. Thanks for watching.
