  • Pluto and its Moons - Space Documentary 2019 HD

    52:58

In 2006, the International Astronomical Union, a global group of astronomy experts, established a definition of a planet that required it to clear its orbit, or in other words, be the largest gravitational force in its orbit.

Since Neptune's gravity influences its neighboring planet Pluto, and Pluto shares its orbit with frozen gases and objects in the Kuiper belt, that meant Pluto was out of planet status. However, in a new study published online Wednesday in the journal Icarus, UCF planetary scientist Philip Metzger, who is with the university's Florida Space Institute, reported that this standard for classifying planets is not supported in the research literature.

Metzger, who is lead author on the study, reviewed scientific literature from the past 200 years and found only one publication -- from 1802 -- that used the clearing-orbit requirement to classify planets, and it was based on since-disproven reasoning.

He said moons such as Saturn's Titan and Jupiter's Europa have been routinely called planets by planetary scientists since the time of Galileo.

The IAU definition would say that the fundamental object of planetary science, the planet, is supposed to be a defined on the basis of a concept that nobody uses in their research, Metzger said. And it would leave out the second-most complex, interesting planet in our solar system. We now have a list of well over 100 recent examples of planetary scientists using the word planet in a way that violates the IAU definition, but they are doing it because it's functionally useful, he said. It's a sloppy definition, Metzger said of the IAU's definition. They didn't say what they meant by clearing their orbit. If you take that literally, then there are no planets, because no planet clears its orbit.

The planetary scientist said that the literature review showed that the real division between planets and other celestial bodies, such as asteroids, occurred in the early 1950s when Gerard Kuiper published a paper that made the distinction based on how they were formed.

However, even this reason is no longer considered a factor that determines if a celestial body is a planet, Metzger said.

Study co-author Kirby Runyon, with Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland, said the IAU's definition was erroneous since the literature review showed that clearing orbit is not a standard that is used for distinguishing asteroids from planets, as the IAU claimed when crafting the 2006 definition of planets.

We showed that this is a false historical claim, Runyon said. It is therefore fallacious to apply the same reasoning to Pluto, he said. Metzger said that the definition of a planet should be based on its intrinsic properties, rather than ones that can change, such as the dynamics of a planet's orbit. Dynamics are not constant, they are constantly changing, Metzger said. So, they are not the fundamental description of a body, they are just the occupation of a body at a current era.

Instead, Metzger recommends classifying a planet based on if it is large enough that its gravity allows it to become spherical in shape.

And that's not just an arbitrary definition, Metzger said. It turns out this is an important milestone in the evolution of a planetary body, because apparently when it happens, it initiates active geology in the body.

Pluto, for instance, has an underground ocean, a multilayer atmosphere, organic compounds, evidence of ancient lakes and multiple moons, he said.

It's more dynamic and alive than Mars, Metzger said. The only planet that has more complex geology is the Earth.

Eagles: The Kings of the Sky | Free Wildlife Documentary

Watch: The Golden Eagle: King of the Mountains here:

Whether in Alaska or in the Dolomites, eagles are generally seen as Kings of the skies. This film devotes itself on the one hand to the bald eagle, the heraldic bird of the United States, and on the other, the Golden Eagle, Europe's largest predatory bird. Many bald eagles live in the Chilkoot State Park in Alaska's south. In fact, more than 400 pairs reside there for the entire year. With a wingspan of some 2.5 metres, they are amongst the largest of their species. The offspring have to leave the eyrie by September at the latest, as then, winter sets in.

On clear, starry nights, one can experience the Northern Lights. There are certain places where especially many eagles group. 3000 to 4500 of them. Because, beneath the Chilkat ice blanket, chum salmon feel at home. The reason for this is the volcanic activity of the surrounding areas. Hot sources feed the different tributaries of the Chilkat. It is the fourth and final salmon migration of the year - nowhere else does this take place so late in the year.

This combination of ice-free water and spawning fish facilitates the survival of many young eagles through their first winter. In the Dolomites, we observe a Golden Eagle couple and their offspring. The strategy of hunter and hunted is impressively documented. For the very first time we experience a groundhog's fight for survival, attempting to flee the eagles' eyrie at a height of 2000 meters, despite the fact this means confrontation with the eagle's offspring. Golden Eagles have virtually conquered the entire northern hemisphere. But the future hunting grounds of the young eagles belongs to the most beautiful: the Dolomites - as majestic as the Kings of the skies.

  • This Star Will Explode Soon And Youll See It on Earth

    10:18

Watch more videos in our new App:

All the stars we see, including our Sun, are in a balance of powers. Stars are very heavy objects, so they have strong gravity, which presses them from the outside and makes them shrink. But inside a star, while it burns fuel, there are nuclear reactions that produce incredible amounts of energy. This energy is the light and heat that we feel during the day. But most importantly, these reactions increase the pressure inside the star and create a force that is fighting with gravity.

A star the size of our Sun can shine for about 10 billion years. Specifically, our lovely Sun is about 4.5 billion years old and has already burned half its fuel. The next stage in a star's life comes when it runs out of juice. Internal pressure drops, but gravity continues to press. In less than half a second, a huge star turns into a small and dense object. This rapid collapse creates incredible shock waves that cause the upper layers of the star to explode. Boom! But what happens next? Well, the heavier the star, the more interesting the events will be.

  • Top Secret Anti-Gravity Spy Plane - TR3b Black Manta

    15:58

    Discord:
    New Channel:
    Patreon to see videos early:

Join this channel to get access to perks:

In the case of the TR-3B Black Manta, it means a craft that uses highly pressured mercury accelerated by nuclear energy, so that plasma is produced, which, in turn, creates a field of anti-gravity around the craft. It has an electromagnetic coil at the heart of it’s motive power system, the result of which is electromagnetic drive that interacts with the Higgs-Boson field at the quantum level. Heady stuff indeed!

So, an anti-gravity aircraft doesn’t use conventional turbine or rocket engine technology, but instead a propulsion system that creates thrust by generating high-energy plasma. These aircraft are also referred to as ‘flux liners’.

As with many divergent aviation technologies, anti-gravity technology dates back to the latter part and aftermath of World War II, and specifically the covert U.S. project known as Operation Paperclip.

The objective of Operation Paperclip was for the U.S. to gain as much leverage against the Soviet Union in the military armaments technology race, which is why the project was packed to the rafters with German scientists who were avowed members of the Nazi Party.

That means the U.S. has been investigating anti-gravity technology for nearly 70 years.

It is the culmination of theories regarding gravitation, quantum gravity and general relativity, the latter as first put forward by Albert Einstein himself.

Anti-gravity is of huge interest to the military and scientists alike, given that, for example, one could hypothetically reduce an aircraft’s mass by using electromagnetic propulsion, even down to zero.

Little wonder that the likes of NASA, the U.S. Air Force and Lockheed Martin researchers have all invested in theoretical studies regarding the ability to alter inert mass.
According to experts, the TR-3B Black Manta would use conventional thrusters located at the tips of the aircraft that would allow it to perform a dizzying number of rapid high-speed manoeuvres,

including perfect right-angle turns and hyper acceleration. And it could achieve this along all its three axes.

Remember, the TR-3B was designed to be a subsonic stealth spy plane.

For one thing, it’s a very silent aircraft, save for a slight humming sound. An interesting by-product of the plasma the TR-3B generates is that it significantly reduces the aircraft’s radar signature, thereby making it ideal for missions in which stealth is paramount.

That means the TR-3B Black Manta could sneak into just about any air space of any country and not be detected by its air traffic control or air defence systems.

This little black number has been associated with multiple reports of sightings of flying triangle aircraft over Antelope Valley, an area of desert in southern California much beloved by UFO watchers.

It’s also this desert area of California that draws people interested in covert black project or ‘black ops aircraft projects, given its close proximity to several known military research and testing areas,

including Edwards Air Force Base and USAF Plant 42, the latter which is a mere 60 miles or 97 kilometres from downtown Los Angeles.

In my humble opinion, the United States Air Force must thank its lucky stars for UFO enthusiasts and believers of alien spacecraft.

After all, as Popular Mechanics has written, a number of reports of so-called black triangle UFOs have probably been secret military aircraft in reality.

The TR-3B Black Manta would certainly be the type of black ops project typical of the U.S. Air Force and Navy.

The U2 spy plane of the 1950s, the SR-71 jet of the 1980s, and the present-day F-117A stealth craft are just three examples of planes that the U.S. Air Force denied existed for years, all of which were first covertly developed at Nevada’s infamous Area 51 base.

And don’t let’s forget that Area 51 itself was only finally acknowledged by the U.S. government when that most covert of agencies, the CIA, did so in June 2013, courtesy of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed eight years earlier.

    But does it exist?

There are of course the inevitable allegations that the TR-3B was built by the military using extraterrestrial reverse-engineered technology.

Even Forbes magazine mused in 2021 that maybe, just maybe the patents issued to Salvatore Cezar Pais could be a cover for alien technology captured over the years by the U.S. military.

So, what of the TR-3B Black Manta? How far back does it go, if at all? Does it have anything to do with the aforementioned 2018 patent issued to Pais and the U.S. Navy? Is it a plane, is it a bird, could it even be Superman? No, it’s just the United States Air Force messing with our heads again.

  • NASA Parker Solar Probe - Journey To The Sun

    3:42

On Aug. 11th 2018, NASA launched the Parker Solar Probe, which will be the first-ever mission to touch the Sun.

The probe, about the size of a small car, will travel directly into the Sun's atmosphere, about 4 million miles from the surface.

The probe will slingshot around Venus, which will help it create a tighter orbit around the Sun, it’s first orbit around the sun will be at 15 million miles, it’s 21st orbit in 2024 will put it at 4 million miles from the sun, and travelling at around 430,000 Kph.

NASA’s Parker Solar Probe will study the Sun to help us better understand the corona, the solar wind and other solar activity that might impact life on Earth.

    Thanks for watching.

The Sun has an incredibly big influence on everything on Earth, and it isn’t limited to just light and warmth. There’s no telling how exactly the Earth would look, but it would definitely not be the planet we know. What we wouldn’t be able to witness already is a 10% expansion of the sun.

    SUMMARY:
    - What do we know about the Sun? It’s basically a huge generator: it gives us light, warmth, and even an endless supply of safe energy, which we’re currently mastering.
    - You see, as stars go, our Sun is quite young: it’s only 4.6 billion years old, and it’s now in the phase when it’s most stable.
    - But like any other star, the Sun is constantly changing. The energy it gives off results from burning, and that can’t be safe by any accounts.
    - The energy the Sun gives to our planet heats the surface and the atmosphere alike, and it drives the weather all across the globe. As weird as it sounds, there would simply be no rain without the sun.
    - As the sun heats the surface of Earth, it starts all sorts of processes on and beneath it. It may sound crazy, but even volcano eruptions and earthquakes are the result of the sun’s activity — at least in part.
    - Even a 5% increase in the size of our star would make our planet way different from what we have now. Its surface would get much hotter, water would evaporate in much more copious amounts, and the climate would change drastically.
    - What we wouldn’t be able to witness already is a 10% expansion of the sun. As you might’ve guessed, the habitable zone would move again, and this time the Earth would be pushed out of it.
    - The good news is that for some time, at this point, Mars would enter the habitable zone instead, so if humankind eventually finds a way to colonize the red planet, it will be able to escape the sad fate of its home world.
    - On the other hand, if the growth of greenhouse gases produced by humans continues, we might face a global change of climate.
    - Climate change won’t come peacefully: it will trigger lots and lots of natural disasters, such as hurricanes, volcano eruptions, earthquakes, and tsunamis.

We all have heard of the lost civilization of Atlantis sinking into the waters off the coast of Ancient Greece. The story is supposed to be a myth, but have scientists finally found the lost city? Not sure about that, but they did find a lost continent! How careless do you have to be to misplace an entire continent? We’ll have to ask our planet about that one.

Earth lost what was called Greater Adria between 100 and 120 million years ago. So, how did that happen, and where did it go? The only way to describe the process would be kinda like a snake slipping through rocks or going down into a hole. Most snakes don’t leave trails. And scientists might never have found Adria if it weren’t for the snakeskin. I mean, the mountains… Confused? Let's figure out!

Hello adorable people ! New video is out ! Why is Pluto not a planet .......

  • Pluto

    3:01

Pluto, once the smallest planet in our solar system, is a dwarf planet full of secrets. Recently we have discovered a huge interest for Pluto and have been able to receive information from that planet. We have also for the first time received pictures of the planet which introduce its magnificence and beauty to our world.

In 1930, farmer and amatuer astronomer Clyde Tombaugh took up Lowell’s search at the observatory Lowell had built in Kansas. Tombaugh used a blink comparator, a machine that let him compare two exposures of the night sky taken several days apart, to track the movement any bodies in the sky. On February 18th, 1930, Tombaugh noticed that one body had moved between his two exposures. After confirming the movement with a third photo and several weeks of additional observation, Tombaugh confirmed the existence of “Planet X.” Many names were proposed for the new planet, but the eventual name of “Pluto” was proposed by an 11 year old British girl named Venetia Burney, who picked the name after the Roman god of the underworld. Lowell Observatory chose “Pluto,” and the new planet was born.

In 2006, much to the disappointment of many, Pluto was demoted to the status of a dwarf planet. A Dwarf Planet is one which cannot move away objects from its path.

There are a lot of things that are unknown to us about Pluto, but that’s a good thing, because we can take up our quest for knowledge and discover all the secrets Pluto has in store for us.
