  • Full Flight: Alaska Airlines A321neo Los Angeles to Seattle

    29:57

Hey guys! Welcome to a very cool full flight video aboard one of my favorite airplane liveries! Today, I fly aboard Alaska Airlines' More to Love A321neo up to Seattle, Washington from Los Angeles, California! It is painted in both Alaska and Virgin America colors merging together in the middle to celebrate the actual merger of the two airlines that happened not long ago. The LAX-SEA route is the most popular route from SeaTac but unfortunately COVID-19 hasn't been kind to it and the plane wasn't even a third full, even with Alaska capping flights. Still was awesome to get to fly this cool livery and the A321neo for the first time. I do enjoy getting to fly Alaska as I think they're really good at what they do and have one of the best hard products in the USA. Their A321s feel very fresh, modern with cool mood lighting, good seats, legroom, have in-seat power outlets, USB ports, WiFi, and a fairly extensive inflight entertainment system. There are no PTVs, rather the iPad holders, but what can ya do. As far as a snack service, Alaska falls more along the lines of American which means they only do a service on longer flights, but the offerings are much better than on AA. I do think they can improve on that front though. But everything else was great. Hope you guys enjoy!

  • Full Flight: Alaska Airlines A319 Los Angeles to Las Vegas

    37:40

Hey guys! Welcome to another full flight video! In this one, I fly an Alaska Airlines A319 from Los Angeles, California to Las Vegas, Nevada. The aircraft was originally owned by Virgin America and was recently switched over to the Alaska colors, but still maintains the Virgin interior. This was my first time aboard Alaska and I was for the most part pleased, but I'd rather hold my comments on the airline as I really didn't get to experience the full Alaska product. But, for this flight, it did have nice legroom, nice seats, IFEs, had free drinks, free carry-ons, and the price was only $45...so I'd definitely say it was worth it. Definitely liked L.A. as well as Vegas and I know I'll be back to both cities in the future! Hope you enjoy!

8:25 Final Thoughts about Alaska Airlines First Class

This particular flight was from Los Angeles to Seattle onboard an A321. But not just any A321! This was one of Alaska's specially painted A321's dubbed More to Love. It was painted to commemorate the merger of Alaska with Virgin America in order to highlight the new, larger Alaska Airlines effort to double down on Customer Service. How did they do?

Well, my Alaska Airlines experience left me wishing I lived in an Alaska hub. I’m pleased say they offered an unparalleled domestic First Class experience, but watch this video to draw your own conclusion.

  • Full Flight: Alaska Airlines B737-900ER Seattle to Anchorage

    27:11

Hey guys! Welcome to another full flight video! This time, I fly aboard an Alaska Airlines B737-900ER up to Anchorage, Alaska from Seattle, Washington. As I say in the video, Alaska is quickly becoming a favorite of mine, really both the airline and state. I really like the overall atmosphere of flying Alaska, as well as their great product onboard, their very nice crews, and free IFE options. This plane also had WiFi, in-seat power outlets, USB ports, a snack/drink service, an on time departure & arrival, good COVID precautions, and a sunset which pretty much extended on for most of the flight. Was definitely a bit weird! But very enjoyable nonetheless. As far as the airports, SeaTac is overall a good airport that'll get a lot better once all the construction can finish. ANC is also nice, however the state of Alaska certainly has one of the stricter COVID restrictions, so it can be a bit of a slog trying to get out of the terminal, or even get into the state...but it is what it is. Hope you guys enjoy!

  • Full Flight: Alaska Airlines B737-700 Ketchikan to Seattle

    24:31

Hey guys! Welcome to the last leg of the Alaska Milk Run, which is from Ketchikan to Seattle! This by far was the longest flight of the entire journey from Anchorage to SeaTac at 1 hr 35 min and so it honestly felt like a normal flight again, still with some awesome scenery outside of Alaska and British Columbia, before reaching the Seattle area. Once again, the crew was amazing, there was a free snack/drink service, free IFE that worked, an on time departure & arrival, and a good onboard hard product with great legroom. Alaska Airlines is increasingly becoming one of my favorites and I hope this full flight video can show a glimpse as to why that's the case. Would highly recommend flying them and especially the Alaska Milk Run. Hope you guys enjoy!

This is a comprehensive review of Alaska Airlines’ new first class product that is currently rolling out on their Airbus fleet.

The new first class seats largely follows the concept of Alaska’s conventional style with 41 inches of pitch and 21 inches of width. A big step down compared to the former Virgin America first class but doubling in terms of quantity of seats which greatly increased the opportunity of elite upgrades.

An unexpected upgrade to first class is always appreciated, but less so when you have to give up a primo window seat for it! This Alaska Airlines 737-800 review didn't turn out like I planned in more ways than one, but it was still a fun experience.

This is footage from flight number 706, a 27-minute flight down to Seattle (SEA) from Vancouver (YVR). Aircraft registration was N531AS and I was seated in 2C up in first class.

  • TRIP REPORT | Alaska Airlines - 737 900 - Seattle | First Class

    23:50

    Welcome to another trip report!

On March 25, I flew from Sacramento to New York via Boise and Seattle (originally Portland). Like I mentioned in the video, my flight from Boise to Portland had been delayed over 6 hours, causing me to lose my First Class seat and also having my layover in Portland. I was very unprepared, but I asked if I could have a window no matter where in the plane. Alaska then switched my ticket to an Economy window seat, but right before pushback, they told me they had upgraded me to a First Class Aisle. I couldn't pass it up on a red-eye, so apologies if this report feels like a ripoff.

  • Full Flight: American Airlines A321 Seattle to Phoenix

    30:14

Hey guys! Welcome to another full flight video! In this vid, I travel aboard a 3 year old American Airlines A321 down to Phoenix, Arizona from Seattle, Washington. Let me just say, after flying Alaska Airlines 9 straight flights, it was definitely weird and kinda nice to be flying something else (don't get me wrong, I LOVE Alaska), even if it was American. I found this flight to be one of the better AA flights I've been on though, specifically because I had a whole row to myself, had some nice legroom, personal PTVs–universal power outlets–USB ports at every seat, and some great weather which made for awesome scenery. Now, as for Phoenix, this was my first time flying into the city and also my first time experiencing heat of that magnitude. I cannot tell you how awful it feels when you step off that plane into 114 degrees, especially when I just spent 3 days in Alaska. Wow. I think Arizona is one of the country's most beautiful states, but I'll stick to visiting it :d. Hope you guys enjoy!

  • TRIP REPORT | Alaska Airlines - 737 700 - Seattle | First Class

    18:35

Alaska's new interior features some of the most comfortable standard reclining First Class seats I've sat in. They combined blends of both Virgin America and old Alaska Airlines elements and created a pretty sleek and modern cabin.

The 737-700 isn't very easy to fly on in Alaska's fleet unless you're traveling to or in Alaska. After all, they only have 11 of them, and its reduced capacity is perfect for small Alaskan towns.

I had a great onboard experience. The flight was a moderate 3 1/2 hour hop up to Anchorage. I was visiting Alaska for the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. It is an annual long-distance sled dog race run in early March from Anchorage, AK to Nome, AK. Mushers and a team of 14 dogs, of which at least 5 must be on the towline at the finish line, cover the distance in 8–15 days or more. • Alaska Airlines A321 NEO | AS1927 | Los Angeles to San Francisco | Full Flight in HD

    17:53

This was my first time to fly on A321 the NEO. I had been flown on A321 but not on NEO. NEO was pretty rare in either world. This flight was going to San Francisco to Los Angeles. I changed the flight from the early morning because didn't have to get up so early. This plane I got surprised it was NEO and special livery. A321 was only three months old brand-new plane. So, we boarded this aircraft and sat on the right side of the window seat. From LAX to SFO were a short flight and water on-board. I didn't buy a snack onboard due to no time in the airport while ago. The engines were so quiet and very nice. Upon landing in SFO, taxiing to the gate. Overall flight and services were good. Takeoff and landing are for airliner enthusiasts.

Alaska Airlines has successfully paved its way into being one of the nation's largest air carriers. With their never-ending expansion in the lower-48, how does their service live up on a flight to the Last Frontier. Ripping Native designs out of the aircraft interiors and pulling sponsorships from great Alaskan events such as the Iditarod are only a few examples of how they left Alaska behind in the snow.

  • Full Flight: Alaska Airlines B737-900ER Yakutat, AK to Juneau

    22:40

Hey guys! Welcome to the last leg of the northern Alaska Milk Run (for me)! Alaska 66 continues down to Seattle, but I ended up staying the night in Juneau to embark on the southern Alaska Milk Run the next day - which was another amazing experience. This last flight took us past more glaciers such as Yakutat Glacier and Alsek Glacier, over Alsek Lake, Glacier Bay, Icy Strait Point, and finally over the Favorite Channel into Juneau International Airport. It was another empty flight, which further solidified my opinions that the B737-900ER really isn't meant for the Milk Run, but I'm not complaining...definitely was a good experience flying aboard probably Alaska's best aircraft type and interior. The crew, once again, was amazing onboard and one of the nicest I've had. All around fantastic experience on this flight from YAK to JNU and the whole northern Milk Run Part 1. If you'd like to see the entire Milk Run in full with music & narrations throughout, be sure to check out that vid on my channel or you can click here ( Hope you guys enjoy!

  • Alaska Airlines 737-900 First Class Philadelphia to Seattle

    11:34

Welcome to another Shanghai Flyer Production, for those who already subscribed a warm welcome back !

This is a brief review of my flight on Alaska Airlines from Philadelphia to Seattle in early November. As a MVP Gold member, I used my Guest Upgrade Coupon in advance to secure a first class seat, which could otherwise costed me 580 USD for this five hours flight.

The flight itself is all but ordinary; a routine Friday afternoon trans con to the west coast on a narrow body premium cabin is really nothing to get excited about. Please enjoy the video and comment any questions you may have !

  • Full Flight: Alaska Airlines B737-900ER Anchorage to Cordova, AK

    23:15

Hey guys! Welcome to another full flight video! This is the first flight I took on the Milk Run from Anchorage to Seattle with 6 stops in between aboard Alaska Airlines. If you'd like to see the short film I created in a totally different format regarding the entire Milk Run, be sure to head over to my channel or you can find it here ( Like most towns along the coast of Alaska, Cordova is isolated meaning the only way in or out is by air or by ship. It is also largely involved in commercial fishing, which is the economic engine of the small town of 2200. Luckily, throughout the entire Milk Run, I had tremendous weather which just highlighted each town's approaches and scenery to its fullest extent. Cordova definitely has one of the best. Hope you guys enjoy!

Stepping onto a Virgin America A319 and calling it Alaska Airlines is just weird. This is footage from flight number 1620, A319 service from Seattle (SEA) down to San Diego (SAN) on an ex-Virgin America plane.

I was seated in first class on this 2.5 hour flight (2A), and the aircraft registration was N528VA. Long live Virgin America!

Alaska Airlines has been operating out of Seattle, Washington, for nearly seven decades. However, the company’s name and its branding represents the state of Alaska with pride. So, why is the firm based approximately 1,200 nautical miles away?

Alaska Airlines is an American airline headquartered in the Seattle metropolitan area of the state of Washington. The company was founded in 1932 as McGee Airways, offering flights from Anchorage, Alaska. Alaska Airlines has flights to more than one hundred destinations in the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico. The fifth-largest airline in the United States, Alaska Airlines is a major air carrier and, along with its sister airline Horizon Air, is part of the Alaska Air Group. The airline has been ranked by J. D. Power and Associates as having the highest customer satisfaction of the traditional airlines for eleven consecutive years.[8][9]

The airline operates its largest hub at Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (nicknamed Sea–Tac). It also operates secondary hubs in Anchorage, Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco and focus cities at San Diego and San Jose. Although most of its revenue and traffic comes from locations outside of Alaska, the airline plays a major role in air transportation in the state. It operates many flights linking small towns to major transportation hubs and carries more passengers between Alaska and the contiguous United States than any other airline.[10]

Notes: Aircraft in Virgin America livery. My first Alaska Airlines flight.

I needed to get down to Los Angeles to catch my BA flight back to London, and Alaska was the most reasonably priced option, so thats who i went with!

Being a short flight, it’s hard to judge the airline fully. The crew seemed enthusiastic and friendly in all fairness to them, one even apparently appeared in the old Virgin America safety video. We were thrown one free drink (that’s all we had time for really) and the cabin was clean if a little on the worn side. Virgin Americas old IFE held up well and even though there was some paid content, i found the free stuff would have kept you going for a few hours.

I’d fly Alaska again but i imagine the hard product varies between it’s own original fleet and the ex Virgin America frames.
