  • Say Hello to the Google Pixel 4a

Meet Pixel 4a, the helpful Google phone at a helpful price. It comes packed with all the things you want in a phone, for a lot less than you'd expect.

The Google Pixel 4a comes equipped with Adaptive Battery, which means you can swipe, scroll, and stream up to 24 hours of use.* Paired with a powerful camera, it takes less effort to capture a beautiful shot in the day or night because shooting for the stars is easy with Night Sight.** And if that’s not enough, the Titan M security chip helps to keep everything under lockdown and ward off the bad guys. You can also easily access your phone with Pixel Imprint.

In addition, the company might also launch a new Chromecast and a new Nest smart speaker. Almost everything has been revealed about the products set to launch by Google at the event tonight.

Tonight’s the night – Google will fully reveal the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G, plus a couple of new smart home accessories. You can read our article on what to expect for all the preliminary details we have on the upcoming phones.

The Google Pixel 5 will reportedly be priced at Euro 629 (approximately Rs 54,000). It will be made available in Black and Green colour options. The device will feature a 6-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processer paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will run the company’s own Android 11 operating system. All of this will be backed by a 4,080mAh battery with support for 18W Qi wireless charging. It will feature a dual-camera setup on the back consisting of a 12.2MP primary sensor paired with a 16MP wide-angle sensor. On the front, it will feature an 8MP sensor for taking selfies.

Google’s ‘Launch Night In’ event set for tonight: Here’s what to expect

Google Pixel 4a 5G will be priced at $499 (approximately Rs 37,000). It will reportedly feature a 6.2-inch full HD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device will run Android 11 and will be backed by a 3885mAh battery.

  • Google Pixel 5 Reveal Event Live | TechRadar Reacts

The Launch Night In Google Hardware reveal event watch along live stream.

Google has invited us all to learn all about the new Chromecast, latest smart speaker and new Pixel phones live.

The Google Pixel 5 is landing today, and the company is set to unveil its next flagship phone at an entirely virtual event that the company is referring to as its big Launch Night In Livestream.

The Pixel 5 and a variety of other Google gadgets are set to be unveiled.

We're expecting to hear more about the new flagship Pixel smartphone, as well as the Google Pixel 4a 5G, and a variety of other products including a brand new Google Chromecast and a new Google Nest smart speaker.

When can you watch along? The event is set for September 30, and it's due to start at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST (that's 4am AEST on October 1). You can either watch along live here, with the TechRadar team, or watch the official Google stream at this link -
    The New Chromecast

Since June, we've heard rumors that the new Chromecast (codenamed Sabrina) will use a remote and a rejigged interface, and we're expecting to see it finally surface at Google's Launch Night In event.

Details are incredibly sparse on the specs right now, but the thinking here is that Google is making a device for both its tech-savvy users who know how to Cast as well as some less technical folks who still enjoy using a remote control to peruse their streaming devices.

Early leaked images of the device show that it's not a massive departure in terms of design from its predecessors and still connects to your TV through an attached HDMI cable. An XDA leaker says that the new Chromecast will come in three colors - white, black and peach - but couldn't confirm if it would support high-end AV formats like Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

No word on pricing or release date yet either, but if it's anything close to the Chromecast 3rd-Gen ($35, £30, AU$59) or Chromecast Ultra ($69, £69, AU$95) then the new Chromecast could be the new de facto streaming device for most people.
    The Google Nest Audio

The so-called Google Nest Audio is rumored to be the company’s latest smart speaker, and it’s set to be the successor to its flagship speaker, the Google Home.

We’ve actually seen a lot of the Google Nest Audio in recent weeks, after the tech giant released a teaser video that showed off the wireless speaker’s new design, with a loaf-shaped build and fabric grille.

Said to offer superior sound to its predecessors, the Nest Audio has even been mistakenly sold by Walmart in the US, as one Redditor discovered.

“Audio quality blows the original Google home out of the water by a very, very wide margin,” the Redditor reports. “Highs are super clear and crisp, lows are remarkably delicate and defined whereas heavy bass items seem to have definition rather than just heavy output. Seems competitive with my Sonos IKEA Speakers at lower volumes.”

Of course, we’ll need to test it out for ourselves to find out whether the Nest Audio delivers in terms of audio quality – as well as its onboard Google Assistant’s smart home integration – but we’re excited to hear more about it at the big event.
    The Google Pixel 5 and 4a 5G

The first of the last-minute leaks are in, and this one gives us another look at the Google Pixel 5 before it's unveiled properly on stage later today.

It's from Jon Prosser - a leaker of a wide variety of gadgets - who has photos of the Google Pixel 5 in a hand.

We're not sure if it's his specific hand, but it largely confirms what we've seen from the most recent leaks so we think this is the final product.

With custom-designed speakers, Google Pixel Buds bring you brilliant sound for your favorite music, podcasts, radio and more. Adaptive Sound intelligently adjusts the volume of what you’re listening to, so you don’t have to constantly raise or lower the volume as you move from the quiet of your home to a subway or a loud cafe.

If you’re on a call or a meeting, no problem. Beamforming mics focus on your voice, while voice accelerometers detect your speech through the vibrations of your jawbone, so a noisy street or windy day won’t get in the way of your conversation.

When you need help on the go, just say “Hey Google,” and ask the Assistant for whatever you need — turn up the volume, send a quick text, get directions, or even understand another language with Google Translate.

???? What are Sponsors? What perks do they get?

    - Sponsors sponsor a YouTube Channel through monthly payments to help keep the adventures going! Think of them as YouTube's version of Twitch Subs! Once you become a sponsor you get access to:

    • Our Sponsor Leaf Badge of Honor in front of your name!

    • Ability to use all our special emojis in our YouTube chat! Essential for adding some of that goosey goodness to our livestream adventures!

    • Access to our private Discord channel, complete with piles of hidden adventures and an awesome positive community!

    • As a sponsor you are also involved in special stream perks like sending in your Nicheling from Niche for our Niche stream overlays or having special characters named after you or your ideas!

???? How do I sponsor? Is it available in every country?

    • You can check out this nifty guide for more details! ( ) Also please note, as of right now YouTube Superchat and Sponsorship is not available in every country! :( So sorry about that!

????I want to help! Should I become a Sponsor, Patreon, or Twitch Sub?

    • First off, thank you so much!! And to answer the question Patreons help a creator the most, hand's down! If you want to help and are torn between Patreon (which has many tiers and lots of perks!) or Sponsoring, Patreon directly helps a creator more. Sponsoring on YouTube and Subbing on Twitch helps to grow our channel in that specific medium for emoji slots! ;) Which is very cool but if you are wondering which arena you'd best be able to help in, Patreon is the best spot to start!

  • Live Stream #70: Coding Challenges: Asteroids and Pixel Sorting

In this Live Stream, I take on two Coding Challenges. First, I make a version of the classic Atari game Asteroids using JavaScript and HTML5 canvas with the p5.js library. I then implement Pixel Sorting in Processing (Java). I sort the pixels of an image by brightness and hue.
