    THE REVIEW:
    DISCLAIMER:
This video was not sponsored. This video has no affiliate links. I purchased both the E55 and E25 to test these out. No bias, no conflicts of interest, just a good old genuine review with tests to prove my conclusions
No disrespect YouTubers accepting this sponsorship. Not everyone has tested as many earbuds as I, nor as intensely. Raycon is a legitimate brand and is not a scam. I purchased two pairs and received them, and they are functioning wireless earbuds. The question is whether or not they are as good as their bold claims.

    PHYSICAL:
    Fit test
Comfort = includes 5 extra gel tips
    Durability
    Wireless charging = E55 only
Colors = 5 different colors each
    Aesthetics - vote in comments
    Water resistance = IPX4 on E55 only

    FEATURES:
    6/36h battery on E55, 24/6h on E25
Price = $120 and $80 but there is always a 15% off coupon
    Single point connection = yes!l
    Auto play/pause = no

    MIC TEST

    AUDIO QUALITY:
    CODECS = unknown
    Single point connection on both!
Lag test = about 1/10 sec lag
Passive noise blocking = just ok
    ANC = No
    Audio quality:
VERY muddy in E55, lots of bass. E25s are muddy too.
Bass is boomy and not tight at all (E55)
    Somewhat dark (E55)
Shallow depth and weak instrument separation (E55)
E25 have terrible instrument detail and separation, sound like a $15 pair of earbuds.
Low bass is very prominent, borderline seismic (E55)
Bass is still very prominent in E25 but not as seismic. Seems a bit bloated with an emphasis around 200Hz
Overall balance is a mess, not natural, and sound is not analytical, but if you listen to Steve Aoki, they would be fun (E55)
Definitely not the best audio in the business.

    ADDITIONAL REVIEW NOTES:

    Sennheiser MTW2:
    Great sound quality (the best)
comfortable all day, but not necessarily ideal for running
    No wireless charging
    IPX4 water resistance
    decent battery life
    great, customizable touch controls
    easy to use
    available in two colors

    Bose QuietComfort Earbuds:
Very large design of both the case and the earbuds
    Comfortable wing tip
Easy to switch devices, but no mono mode
    Great ANC and sound quality
The biggest drawback for these is easily the physical design

    Galaxy Buds Pro:
An easy recommendation for their jack-of-all-trades style
    Great features
    Great comfort
    Nice app
    Good sound quality
    Great microphones
ANC is just ok - not the strongest or cleanest
Audio only uses SBC or AAC codecs
    Wireless charging case is nice!
Much more I'll explain in the video :)

    Jabra Elite 85t:
A sequel to one of my all time favorites
    Great physical buttons
    Awesome case design!
I am not a big fan of the earbud comfort though :(
Customization within the app is fantastic
    Powerful ANC
Decent sound quality and mic quality

    Apple AirPods Pro
A classic pair of earbuds known for its iconic stem
Not my favorite aesthetic, but I see why people like them
    Great microphone quality
    Amazing integration with Apple's ecosystem
    Decent sound quality
Case does tend to get dirty and is not especially easy to clean
    Only one color available
Clean transparency mode and powerful ANC

    ADDITIONAL REVIEW NOTES:
    PHYSICAL DESIGN
MUCH smaller and more aesthetic than the XM3’s
    3 foam ear tips:
    Pretty secure and light feeling
Great seal isolates and ensures optimal listening experience
Can get a bit stuffy and hot in ears
Battery life: 8/24 hrs (with ANC on!)
    Wireless charging or USB-C charging
Sony’s V1 chip is very efficient and can handle high res audio & ANC without decimating the battery life
    **IPX4 water resistant!
    Bluetooth 5.2
Recycled packaging is a big bonus!

    CONTROLS
    Touchpads are customizable
Touch and hold to temporarily hear surroundings
Touch and hold other bud for assistant

    MICROPHONE TEST

    SOUND
Superb sound quality with LDAC and clean, detailed audio
DSEE Extreme (doesn’t really excite me)
Excellent EQ presets and customization options
I lifted my highs slightly so I could hear those high end details

    FEATURES and APP
Speak to chat (silence music and turn on transparency)
    Adaptive Sound Control
    Music Controls in app
    Auto play/pause (in ear detection)
    Custom Bluetooth Connection Quality
    360 Reality Audio
    Google or Alexa voice assistant
Customizable touch controls (sort of - they come in sets)
    Earbud fit test
Pass through / transparency mode is decent!
    COMPATIBILITY
Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac, or just about anything else (as regular buds)
Mobile is best for the app
Android pairs super easily (like airpods on iPhone)

    ANC
AMC does a great job and doesn't struggle with external sounds such as cymbals or door slams

    CONS:
Mic quality (but not bad, just not the #1)
If you are getting a phone call and do not already have the buds in, you can’t really insert foam tips quickly. Also, they give a 5 second spiel about battery levels
    Master/Slave connection (no mono mode)
Only able to connect to one divice at a time
    Price = $280
Ears can fatigue after a few hours of listening

    CONCLUSION:
These are fantastic for commuters, desk jobs, casual listeners, travelers, and honestly anyone else besides those seeking to use earbuds primarily for workouts, and even then these are not bad

OVERALL: One of the best pairs of earbuds on the market

  • RAYCONs NEW EARBUDS - E55 Pro & E25 Pro

After exposing the truth behind Raycons, the company reached out to me. They assured me this new Raycon Pro lineup resolved everything. So did it? This video is a review of the new Raycon E55 Pro and E25 Pro based on my own honest testing and experience.

    Additional review notes:
    COMFORT:
55 Pro are actually really nice. I like the fit, light weight, and sturdiness
55 Buttons are STIFF and annoying
25 are much lighter yet, but not comfortable

    SOUND QUALITY:
    55 Pro - Unbelievably muddy
Tight staccato bass isn’t a thing with these buds
    Poor clarity
Over emphasis on bass (which isn’t even good bass)
Dull mids with bloated profile overall
    Poor instrument separation
    Cymbals are completely drowned out
    No equalizer :(
If you know nothing about audio quality, these will sound fine to you.
A definite improvement over the regular 55s
    No EQ app

E25 Pro - Much more balanced than 55s, but not good
    Bass is removed
    Big sound hits are dull
The balance is better but it is hard to say what is wrong with the sound because there is very little right with it. No instrument separation, no spacial, over emphasis on upper mids
Some drums sound more like crackling than drums.
Overall trash audio quality. Even if you know nothing about audio quality, these will sound probably sound bad to you

    CONCLUSION:
The 55 Pro would be a solid pair of earbuds if they were $50. $70 at most. They have a lot of nice features and specs but lack sound quality, an app for customizations, and convenient controls. These are compromises that completely eliminate them from the conversation of best earbuds. If your only goal is to get rid of your wires, you know nothing about audio, and you already ordered these, you will be happy with them. If you have not yet ordered them, there are earbuds that sound much better for the price

The 25 Pro are not pro at all. They changed a few things but these are still worth $25 at best. If you’re on a budget, just get the JLab Go Air for $20. If you want to spend $80, get the Galaxy Buds (original). I would just not get these

  • Raycon E55 Wireless Earbuds Review: YouTubers Try to Sell You This

    7:48

Like everyone watching this video, I watch a lot of youtube in my spare time. Even as I’m writing this script. I have something playing in the background. And since my fiancé watches a lot of commentary videos, I couldn’t help but notice many of those youtubers being sponsored by this brand. Raycon. Before YouTubers started talking about these, I never heard of them. What are they you ask? Supposedly great sound earbuds for half the cost of other main brand wireless earbuds. They’re even promoted by some celebrities like Drake, and Snoop Dog. So, I went out with my hard earned money, and bought these things so you don’t have to. Are they any good? Are they “the next wave in wireless audio”? Let’s find out with a little review.

Check out the amazon affiliate links to the gear I use in my videos here:

    Rode VideoMic NTG:

This isn’t the average tech review like you’d see on my channel. We just want to see if this item is good enough. The bar is set pretty low here. Anyway, let’s start.

These are the Raycon E55 wireless earbuds. They cost $120 but costs $102 using the promo codes you receive from sponsored YouTubers. They come in a few colors, but honestly, some of these colors aren’t the best. I found the white or black ones to be cleanest, so I got the white ones. The box it comes in has 4 pairs of different ear tips. I found the ones it starts with were smaller than other earbuds, so you might want to switch those out. The best part of these earbuds is the case itself. It’s nice and solid. Makes a satisfying click when closed, is small and compact, and the earbuds magnetically attach to the case, making them harder to lose. But, I don’t like this aluminum foil looking trim. It really makes the case look cheap, and the foil feels like it’s about to peel and reveal some candy inside. Not a fan of that. There’s also a usb type c port for charging, has wireless charging and when it is charging, the case flashes a solid red led for charging and solid green when it’s fully charged. It has a total of 36 hours of battery in this tiny tiny case and is IPX4 water-resistant.

Moving onto the earbuds themselves. They look fine, almost like a pair of kidneys, its made of glossy hard plastic, and fit in my ears fine and did not fall out during a run on the treadmill or when I whipped my head back and forth. The chrome trim on the earbuds make them look and feel like some $30 walmart bargain bin earbuds. Not the best looking, or feeling earbuds at this price range. But looks and feel aren’t everything. These are earbuds Jimmy. Not a piece of art in a museum, and definitely not a luxury item. How do they sound….? It’s okay. It’s very heavy on the bass. The bass is overpowering on these earbuds, and it drowns out the mids and the highs. It makes it a bit hard to hear some details in music because it’s covered in bass. So, great. Get these if you’re a bass head right? Yes, but keep in mind the bass can sometimes get muddy sounding because it’s so loud compared to everything else, and because it’s more noticeable. Turning down the bass a little in eq settings makes them sound more balanced and they sound significantly better. Sadly, they don’t have their own app to change EQ settings, so you’d have to do that manually for each app you use. Overall, I’d describe the sound quality of these things as middle of the pack when compared to similarly priced competitors. Something I normally don’t mention. Return policy. They have a 45 day return policy which is fantastic considering these are wireless earbuds that sit in your nasty earwax filled ear holes. Most retail shops only give you 15-30.

So, overall, what do I think of the Raycon E55 truly wireless earbuds? There are better options out there in this price range in a few different areas. Here’s a few examples, The Samsung Galaxy buds are a great all-around good choice. The Anker Sound core liberty 2 pro have fantastic sound quality and features, and AirPods, while a little more expensive when on sale, has greater compatibility with Apple products. So, where does the Raycon E55 come in? For those who like bass, a lot of bass, and don’t care much about anything else. You’ll love these. They’re definitely doing good in that department.

  • Raycon Everyday E25 Unboxing & First Impressions || Quality Earbuds or a Fraud?

    12:22

FINALLY! I have gotten my hands on some Raycon Everyday E25's, the most infamous earbuds on YouTube, or so I think. You have heard the ad read from every YouTuber out there, about Raycon's Everyday Earbuds, the E25 , but have you heard an opinion about them that is not paid for? In this video, I unbox the E25's, get a first impression on them, and ask the question, are they all the ad read claims? Or is it just a bunch of bull? A BIG review is coming soon on these bad boys, where I am going to be diving in deep, addressing ALL of the claims from the ad read, and telling you how they actually stack up in real life. Let me know what you want to see addressed in that review down in the comments!

  • Raycon E25 Pro Wireless Earbuds *updated version* - Honest Review

    10:51

The Raycon E25 Pro's are the upgrade and everything you asked for about the Non Pro Every Day E25's. It brings technology down from the E55 and upgrades for 2021 tech that won't disappoint.

I have always been on the search for the best wireless earbuds, from the Galaxy Buds live to the Sennheiser Momentums, I have tried my fair share of 2020 wireless earbuds. Now it's time to take a look into what 2021 will bring us.

My last video on Raycon was definitely eventful, and to be fair, not a great look for Raycon. Nonetheless, they have pressed forward despite my meager attempts and even asked me to jump onboard the first look at the E25 Pro's. So here you are!

  • I Was Wrong About the Raycon E25

    4:18

Around two weeks ago, I uploaded a video where I basically accused Raycon of potentially rebranding a product, marketing it and selling it for an abhorrent price. I was speaking about their raycon e25 compared to the Blitzwolf BW FYE5. Which I believed were the same product. On that same video, they reached out and commented that the shell appears very similar but the software and hardware inside the raycon earbuds are not. So, I took that video down. I don’t want to be someone who spreads misinformation. So, to be sure I got the whole truth. I bought both. I got both earbuds right here. And spoiler alert. Raycon was absolutely correct.

    0:00 Introduction
    0:55 All the differences
    2:45 Conclusion

This is going to be a pretty quick video. In short. I was wrong. The shells look near identical, that’s true, I was correct about that but that’s where the similarities end. Here’s what I mean. First the cases have different finishes. One is glossy and one is matte. The Blitzwolf case is somewhat translucent, meaning you can see the earbuds leds when they’re charging through the case. The raycon is solid, with no light shining through. The earbuds sound completely different from each other. The Raycon E25 emphasizes bass and the high ends, while the Blitzwolf FYE5 sounds much more flat in comparison. The battery life on the Blitzwolf earbuds are abysmal at 2 and a half hours at max volume, while the Raycon E25 got me 4 and a half hours at max volume despite the raycon sounding slightly louder at max volume. The Raycon E25 takes a little less than an hour to fully charge the earbuds, and the Blitzwolf takes nearly 2 hours. Even the accessories they come with are different. They both provide a micro usb cable, but the one for the Blitzwolf is significantly longer, but the Raycon E25 provides way more eartips, and they don’t come in a sad little baggy the way the Blitzwolf do. The mics sound different. The E25 does this weird woobly thing when you’re talking. It sounds like you’re on a swing set, swinging back and forth. The Blitzwolf doesn’t have this problem and seems to try and noise gate the background noise away.

So I think these are enough differences to conclude that these are not the same product. The Blitzwolf are overall inferior to the Raycon e25, despite in my opinion, better mic quality over the e25. The Blitzwolf are earbuds I personally would not recommend, in that low end price range. I’d just go for the Enacfire e60, which I’ve had for about a week and am absolutely loving so far. It’s a great value for its price. The verdict on the Raycon E25? I’ll save that for the full review.

So, I was wrong. They are not rebranding products. You could argue they used a similar shell which is true. These are pretty close shape and design wise, but these are not the same product and I was straight up wrong for saying that. I thought I found juicy information and it was not correct. So pro tip. Don’t make accusations about products until you have them both in your hands. Even if it appears that they are the same. They might surprise you. I thought I had a Computer Clan and Lit Mobile type story but I didn’t. I was wrong.

Anyway guys hope this video cleared things up on why I had to remove that video. I don’t think I’m cut out for those “exposed” type videos, I don’t enjoy making them too much and those could be really dangerous and harm reputations especially if I’m wrong. Think I’ll stick to just reviews, I prefer doing reviews anyway. Thanks for understanding guys. And I’ll see you guys next time.

    _________________

The Raycon E55 comes with the usual accessories, ear tips, usb cable for charging, and paperwork. And a bonus strap. Build wise it is all plastic, with the charging case having a rubbery finish. The charging case can charge via type c or wireless is fairly compact making it pretty easy to carry. However, due to its shape, i actually cannot fit it into the small front pocket of my pants. So while its compact, the shape isn't as versatile as other cases. The earbuds are also plastic and decently made, but it does look a bit cheap with its shiny plastic. Especially for what you're paying.

For specs and features, it has bluetooth 5.0, IP X4, and no real notable features apart from the usual, answer end calls, and media controls. Talking about the controls, there is one odd thing, if you were to use only one of the earbuds, it will always default to volume up and next track regardless of left or right earbud. This is different from when you use both where right ear is volume up and next track, while left ear is volume down and previous track.

The E55 also doesn't have auto pause when you remove the earbuds from your ears, and it does not have an App. For some, not having an app could be a good thing, but for others this could be a bad thing. So that's up to you.

For the connection, there is latency but the amount varies. Either way, its there so not the best choice for gaming nor video.

For battery, it lasts about 6hrs of non-stop music playback at medium volume, and fully charges in a little over 1hr.

The fit of the E55 is comfortable despite its built-in non-removable ear wing, but if you were to use the buttons a fairly frequently, it could get uncomfortable due to the plastic pushing against your ear whenever you press the button.

As for sound quality, if you're the type who thinks that as long as you can hear it its okay, then this will be fine, though maybe a bit bass heavy. However, if you care about audio, then you'll find that the bass is very overemphasized, especially in the upper bass, its boom-ey and bleeds into the other frequency and covers their clarity and details. The mids are okay as long as the bass isn't covering it, and the highs are almost just gone in the small cymbals. Overall, its a bit muffled, narrow sounding, not tight, and super bass heavy.

Finally, the price. It is listed at 120USD on Raycon's website, but due to the amount of sponsorship they've done, you can easily find a code and get it down to about 100USD. At that price, I think that is is sitting right on the line of not worth it and barely okay. Basically, all its features are not terrible terrible, but they're also not good or great. And thus, you can spend you money better as you can easily find better price to performance earbuds out there. My suggestions are Anker Soundcore Life P2 for cheaper and better sounding. And Galaxy Buds for amazing sounding earbuds and decent features.

So, the conclusion and lesson is that sponsored products are not always the best product, best value, or best performance. They are simply an ad so that the creator can keep their channel afloat. So be smart and do your research before buying a sponsored product. Or any product for that matter.

  • Quick Review Raycons E25 Pro - Better, but still hard to recommend

    4:41

Raycon E25 Pro Upgraded 2020/2021 version kept it's good features such as being small and light, but also made improvements in the sound balance and added some modern update like usb C, wireless charging, and IP rating. However, in the end, it's nothing special. And at $79.99 USD, it's actually more expensive than many other earbuds with similar features. So, while it's an improvement, it's nothing there's no real standout features and cost more than other comparable earbuds.
