  • SpaceX Falcon Heavy- Elon Musks Engineering Masterpiece

    4:27

Tens of thousands of spectators made the pilgrimage from across the country & 22 million people around the world on Youtube witnessed the thunderous roar of the SpaceX's new 23-story-tall jumbo rocket as it has blasted off on its first test flight, carrying Elon Musk’s red Tesla sports car aiming for an endless trip past Mars.
The Falcon Heavy rose from the same launch pad used by NASA nearly 50 years ago to send men to the Moon. With lift-off, the Heavy became the most powerful rocket in use today, doubling the lift-off punch of its closest competitor.
Within three minutes, the Falcon Heavy’s two side boosters separated from the central rocket in one of the most critical points of the flight. Some eight minutes after launch, a pair of sonic booms rocked the area as the two side boosters set down in near synchrony on two landing pads.
Flying atop the Falcon Heavy is SpaceX & Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s cherry-red Tesla Roadster, carrying a passenger—sort of. SpaceX revealed last weekend that a mannequin wearing the company’s new spacesuit would ride in the driver’s seat of the electric sports car ,nicknamed Starman.

  • The Rise of SpaceX Elon Musks Engineering Masterpiece

    31:15

What Elon did was very different. He didn’t just throw some play money in. He put in his heart, his soul and his mind.
Elon Musk founded SpaceX under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. The company was founded in 2002, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars. Musk envisions a future where humans live in a spacefaring civilization, frequent voyages from Earth to Mars and vice-versa.

  • Falcon Heavy Test Flight

    34:19

Following its first test launch, Falcon Heavy is now the most powerful operational rocket in the world by a factor of two. With the ability to lift into orbit nearly 64 metric tons (141,000 lb)---a mass greater than a 737 jetliner loaded with passengers, crew, luggage and fuel--Falcon Heavy can lift more than twice the payload of the next closest operational vehicle, the Delta IV Heavy, at one-third the cost. Falcon Heavy draws upon the proven heritage and reliability of Falcon 9.

Its first stage is composed of three Falcon 9 nine-engine cores whose 27 Merlin engines together generate more than 5 million pounds of thrust at liftoff, equal to approximately eighteen 747 aircraft. Only the Saturn V moon rocket, last flown in 1973, delivered more payload to orbit. Falcon Heavy was designed from the outset to carry humans into space and restores the possibility of flying missions with crew to the Moon or Mars.

  • SpaceX Falcon Heavy - Tribute

    4:10

4 minutes of pure inspiration for rocket lovers!
The Falcon Heavy test flight (also known as Falcon Heavy demonstration mission) was the first attempt by SpaceX to launch a Falcon Heavy rocket on February 6, 2018 at 20:45 UTC. The successful test introduced the Falcon Heavy as the most powerful rocket in operation, producing five million pounds-force (22 MN) of thrust and having more than twice the lift capacity of United Launch Alliance's Delta IV Heavy.
The dummy payload for this test flight was a sports car, Tesla Roadster, owned by Elon Musk. Sitting in the driver's seat of the Roadster is Starman, a dummy astronaut clad in a SpaceX spacesuit.
It was launched with sufficient velocity to escape the Earth and enter an elliptic orbit around the Sun that crosses the orbit of Mars, reaching an aphelion (maximum distance from the Sun) of 1.66 AU. During the early portion of its voyage it functioned as a broadcast device, sending video back to Earth for four hours. The Roadster remains attached to the second stage.
Both boosters successfully landed almost simultaneously on the ground at Landing Zones 1 and 2 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

  • SpaceX- Rewind 2018: A Year To Remember

    5:35

    SpaceX Rewind 2018:-
Building off its earlier momentum—8 launches in 2016 and 18 in 2017, SpaceX pulled off 21 launches in 2018, a staggering achievement for the 16-year-old company.
SpaceX’s reusable rocket technology moved out of the proof-of-concept stage to become the backbone of a growing fleet of flight-proven rockets. Although the company landed its first rocket in 2015, it took until 2017 for SpaceX to reuse its first booster. This year landings became almost routine, and engineers bid farewell to the moderately reusable Falcons of yesterday, ushering in an era of more capable Falcons, dubbed the Block 5.
Another long-standing goal was to debut its heavy-lift rocket, the Falcon Heavy. First estimated to fly back in 2013, the Falcon Heavy took its inaugural flight on Feb. 6th. After sending a cherry red Tesla roadster (complete with Starman pilot) on a journey past Mars, the three cores of the Falcon Heavy—each essentially its own Falcon 9 rocket—returned to Earth. Two of the boosters touched down in perfect synchronization on LZ-1 and LZ-2, SpaceX’s designated landing zones at Cape Canaveral. The Heavy’s center booster, however, missed its targeted landing spot on a waiting drone ship, and plopped into the Atlantic Ocean.
Musk announced that Yusaku Maezawa was the mysterious billionaire who had reserved both seats the first paying customer on SpaceX’s next-generation rocket—the BFR. Billed from the start as an interplanetary transport vehicle, BFR (which is composed of two parts, a rocket and a spaceship capable of carrying hundreds of people into space)

    4:15

Did you know there is a car in space, right now. SpaceX conducted Falcon Heavy's maiden launch, on February 6, 2018 and the rocket carried a Tesla Roadster car as a dummy payload.

But as this was Falcon heavies maiden launch they did not want to risk an expensive satellite payload, but they needed a payload as a test weight, So Elon decided on using one of his Telsa cars.

The intention of Elon Musk, was to send the car on an constant orbit around the Sun & Mars.

Scientists ran hundreds of different simulations of orbital possibilities and they calculate there’s a 6% chance of the Roadster crashing into Earth and a 2.5% chance of it crashing into Venus over the next 3.5 million years.

Otherwise it will just float out there forever.

  • SpaceX Starship explosion - Elon Musks rocket goes up in flames

    2:05

A SPACEX Starship rocket crashed and exploded in a huge fireball on Wednesday after narrowly missing its landing pad.

Dramatic footage shows the unmanned test capsule blowing up as it smashed into the ground having soared to 40,000ft, in its first high-altitude flight.

However, it gained too much speed to land successfully, and went out in explosive flames.

The Starship milestone on Wednesday puts SpaceX closer to replacing its Falcon spacecrafts.

About two minutes after launching, one of the Starship's three Raptor engines gave out.

A minute later, a second engine cut off, but the prototype rocket continued its journey upward.

The Starship lost its third engine around four-and-a-half minutes into the flight, and the rocket moved to a horizontal position and pointed back down towards Earth.

As the Starship got closer to the ground, its engines fired up again and flipped it back into a vertical position and slowed it down.

The prototype still landed at a faster than ideal speed, causing it to explode.

On its website, SpaceX wrote that the flight was designed to test a number of objectives, from how the vehicle’s three Raptor engines perform to the overall aerodynamic entry capabilities of the vehicle (including its body flaps) to how the vehicle manages propellant transition.

That is Unreal - Elon Musk Emotional Reaction to Falcon Heavy Launch [SpaceX]

It’s February 06, 2018, Kennedy Space Centre, Florida, a few moments earlier to the first launch of SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy.
Following its first test launch, Falcon Heavy is now the most powerful operational rocket in the world by a factor of two. With the ability to lift into orbit nearly 64 metric tons (141,000 pounds of cargo)---a mass greater than a 737 jetliner loaded with passengers, crew, luggage and fuel--Falcon Heavy can lift more than twice the payload of the next closest operational vehicle, the Delta IV Heavy, at one-third the cost. Falcon Heavy draws upon the proven heritage and reliability of Falcon 9.
