  • Blue Origin Just HUMILIATED SpaceX And Elon Musk

In today's Modern video we take an in-depth look at Blue Origins plan to humiliate SpaceX and Elon Musk.

  • Blue Origin Gets Completely HUMILIATED By Everyone!

    Evan Karen:

Talking of reusability, Musk’s SpaceX and Blue Origin by Jeff Bezos come to our mind, but to many, the latter has failed to mark even though it was founded two years before SpaceX.

While SpaceX seems to be constantly innovating and pushing forward with new technology every year, a lot of people can’t help but think that Blue Origin is putting in more effort than they're getting out of the results.

The Blue Origin logo that comprises a feather is a symbol of the perfection of flight, yet the company is yet to take flight on its own, with a work ethic that has so far revolved around lethargy.

Now stepping down as the CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos is one of the most renowned billionaires and has set the ultimate benchmark for all future e-commerce startups and holds some influence in the media empire as well, owning The Washington Post.

In a letter to his employees, the outgoing CEO has stated that he is going to focus his time and energy on other passions and listed Blue Origin as one of them.

So to sum it up, perhaps the company’s busiest phase is yet to show up.

And despite it all seeming perfect when Blue Origin managed to land the New Shepard vertically and reuse the boosters, the company has gone through a string of failures, and losing NASA’s Human Landing System contract to Elon Musk’s SpaceX is just one of that.

But is the company spiraling down towards the bottom?

Let us go through some other factors behind the alleged downfall of the company and proceed towards the final verdict.

The two billionaires have shared different yet high hopes for their companies and the future of humanity, and while Musk aims to develop a human colony on Mars, Jeff Bezos thinks of free-floating colonies.

However, the pace adopted by Blue Origin only means that they are going to lag behind anything Musk is going to achieve... or perhaps, they’re only sticking by their motto - “Gradatim ferociter”, which is Latin for “step by step, ferociously.”

Though Elon Musk has had failures of his own, he famously said that if you are not failing enough, you are not innovating.

And his greed for glory has paid off well as till now as Musk has bagged the achievement of sending up to 100 plus flights boasting the reusability features on Falcon 9 while Bezos has been focusing on space tourism for the ultra-rich with his newer endeavors.

With a current high bid of 2.8 million dollars, Blue Origin’s website is already running a bid for the first seat on his New Shepard so he surely knows how to make money.

The batch of 6 thrill-seekers that was to be up there in zero-G by 2020 might just have to wait even longer because of the delay caused by the pandemic.

And since we are talking of delays, the 98 meters tall New Glenn by Amazon which is designed to carry 50 tons of payload to Low Earth Orbits with reusable boosters was planned to take flight by the end of this year but now it won’t be entering the skies before late 2022.

Named after astronaut John Glenn, the plan with New Glenn is to ferry people to space as well in the long run and the boosters would be landing on a ship, much like the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy do.

About the rescheduling in launch date, a company representative was quoted saying:

“This updated maiden flight target follows the recent Space Force decision to not select New Glenn for the National Security Space Launch Phase 2 Launch Services Procurement. New Glenn is proceeding to fulfill its current commercial contracts, pursue a large and growing commercial market, and enter into new civil space launch contracts. We hope to launch NSSL payloads in the future, and remain committed to serving the U.S. national defense mission”.
Blue Origin and Northrop Grumman failed to impress the Space Force and the partnership of SpaceX and United Launch Alliance benefited out of it.

However, all is not lost for Blue Origin as NASA has allowed them to contest for further contracts under their Launch Services II program which is their sole lifeline as of now.

As fine as it may sound, the company would still have to escape the shadow of Elon’s SpaceX before gaining anything here...

And Jeff Bezos might have to pool in more money into his space company as compared to his current investment of 1 billion a year as its sole investor!

The two space companies are not involved in a tussle just when it comes to rocket reusability and winning important contracts.

Amazon is also trying to catch up with SpaceX in providing internet connectivity through a network of 3000 satellites under Project Kuiper, which is more or less identical to Musk’s plans with Starlink and Good For Nothing Beta.

The project, running under a former vice president of Starlink Operations, has failed to have a head start as Musk has already sent up to 1500 satellites in space.

Jeff Bezos is INSANE!!! Blue Origin sues NASA try to STOP SpaceX and Elon Musk
Blue Origin has chosen to continue fighting NASA's selection of SpaceX to build a Human Landing System as part of the Artemis Moon Program.
The company filed suit in the US Court of Federal Claims on Friday and received a protective order to seal the documents on Monday. The lawsuit follows a decision in late July by the US Government Accountability Office that rejected a protest by Blue Origin and Dynetics over NASA's $2.9 billion awards to SpaceX to further the development of its Starship program.

How will this lawsuit affect the relationship with NASA and the progress of the Artemis project?
The new lawsuit escalates Blue Origin's feud with NASA, almost completely ending the long-standing cooperation relationship that they had previously built with NASA. As recently as last week, senior leaders at NASA and Blue Origin were in talks to forestall such a lawsuit. NASA would still like to include Blue Origin in its Artemis Program, a source familiar with those talks said. However, the space agency does not appear to have come to an agreement with the company.
We firmly believe that the issues identified in this procurement and its outcomes must be addressed to restore fairness, create competition, and ensure a safe return to the Moon for America, Blue Origin said.
Now in court, Blue Origin’s challenge could trigger another pause to SpaceX’s contract and a new lengthy delay to NASA’s race to land astronauts on the Moon by 2024.

  • Blue Origin gets HUMILIATED by the ENTIRE Industry!

Blue Origin gets HUMILIATED by the ENTIRE Industry!

There was a time, not so long ago, when space was seen as the final frontier, the exclusive province of governments and a tiny number of aerospace businesses capable of marshalling the necessary technology and money to leave Earth's atmosphere. Today, however, space technologies are becoming more widely available, similar to what we have seen with technologies such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing, which were previously exclusively available to some companies with resources. The only people who have had direct access to space until now have been billionaires, but times have changed and there are new competitors in the race.

In today's video, we'll explore the blue origin hustle with SpaceX and NASA, then the backlash of Blue origin and then talk about the new competition on the market in the last segment of the video. Here’s a quick reminder that you can subscribe for free and like the video so that we can boost the algorithm. Comments are most welcomed and the best ones will get featured in one of our upcoming videos

It appears as though billionaire-backed space enterprises are launching rockets from the surface of the planet on a regular basis these days. So what is it about Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin that has him on the losing side?. The recent competition, as well as some controversial tweets — such as some deceptive infographics — have left many people who follow the space sector feeling less than enthusiastic about Jeff Bezos and his space enterprise, despite a summer of success.

Commercial spaceflight has accelerated dramatically in recent months, with businesses such as Axiom planning crewed missions to the International Space Station, SpaceX winning NASA's Human Landing System contract to develop a moon lander, and Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic successfully completing crewed space flights with the firms' respective billionaire founders on board. Blue Origin was the only one of these companies to have been entirely outpaced by the number of other companies.

Recently in a surprising move, NASA decided to issue only one Human Landing System contract for the moon trip, despite the fact that NASA leadership had voiced their desire to award multiple contracts in order to ensure a competitive development process. In a later statement, NASA stated that Congress did not approve enough funds to award two contracts. Blue Origin argued in their subsequent protests that NASA should have altered the programme terms when it became evident that it only had the funding to make one award. Blue origin was certainly not NASA's first pick, and it drew criticism.

NASA, on the other hand, has maintained that, for the time being, it wants to fly to the moon with SpaceX and only SpaceX. In the meantime, Blue Origin is refusing to accept any concessions, even if it means delaying humanity's lunar destiny in the process. Putting new boots on the moon by 2024 has always been an idealistic objective, to put it gently, and with the crucial contract currently in dispute, it's a goal that feels doubly insurmountable at this point.

    Space tourists Backlases
Amazon's CEO, Jeff Bezos, has made putting the consumer first___ a passion. And he is the ideal consumer for Blue Origin's space tourism business: a baby boomer who witnessed the end of the Apollo programme and whose childhood aspiration was to become an astronaut like the early astronauts. According to his joy when he climbed out of the capsule, he had a positive experience with the product overall. When Bezos returned from the journey, he said his expectations had been high, but drastically exceeded.

All of the passengers gave excellent feedback, but Funk turned out to be the most accidentally truthful of them all. It seems likely that she was expecting to see the entire globe rather than just the arc of its sphere curving out against the vacuum of space. Moreover, she observed that with just four individuals onboard, there was far less room for entertaining microgravity manoeuvres than she had anticipated—a problem that will likely be worsened when the firm flies with its full load of six passengers.

Her fascination with space isn't something that everyone understands. While there will be a significant number of status-seeking super-rich who will want to ride on the New Shepard, as well as aerospace enthusiasts who will admire them, the general public appears to be having difficulty getting past a phallic rocket and its hotly debated owner in order to consider the potential benefits of this investment.
As a result of the large expenditures of these flights, there has also been some criticism of the flights. However, while these entrepreneurs are beginning to transport private folks to space, the passengers have, for the most part, been individuals who are extraordinarily wealthy. This has generated concerns about who will ultimately benefit as a result of this.

In august 2020, The U.S Air Force awarded United Launch Alliance and SpaceX to carry out their launch missions for the next five years. Both Blue Origin and North Grumman also participated for that contract, but lastly the two companies did not get the taste of winning. Blue Origin lost the job and as for the consequences, the Air Force decided to terminate a $500 million contract that was awarded to Blue Origin in 2018.

The ongoing pointless feud between Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin and Elon Musk's SpaceX seems to show no signs of stopping. It reached new levels of pettiness on Wednesday with a letter filed by Amazon to the Federal Communications Commission regarding Musk’s plans to expand Starlink’s growing satellite network. They claimed that the Starlink operator refuses to obey the rules and that it launches unjustified attacks on anyone who points out SpaceX's rule-breaking.
The document was written by C. Andrew Keisner, the lead counsel for Amazon’s Kuiper Systems subsidiary—a longtime rival to Musk’s own Starlink project. He wrote “Whether it is launching satellites with unlicensed antennas, launching rockets without approval, building an unapproved launch tower, or re-opening a factory in violation of a shelter-in-place order, the conduct of SpaceX and other Musk-led companies makes their view plain: rules are for other people”.
In the race to launch low-orbit satellites, Starlink is clearly in the lead. The company has already begun using its network of roughly 1,700 satellites to offer internet connectivity to tens of thousands of people across the globe via Starlink’s beta program, while Kuiper’s current plans are to launch its first satellites in 2023.
The driving force behind the current feud is that Starlink wants to throw up even more satellites into orbit before Kuiper has even gotten its foot in the door. Back in May 2020, SpaceX applied for a license with the FCC to launch another 30,000 satellites at even lower altitudes than its current set, in order to boost network capacity. Amazon objected not long after, telling the FCC that SpaceX’s plan to encircle the Earth with satellites at two different configurations was “at odds with both the commission’s rules and public policy.”
The FCC rule in question doesn't specifically prohibit SpaceX's approach but says that an application will be rejected if it is defective with respect to the completeness of answers to questions, informational showings, internal inconsistencies, execution, or other matters of a formal character.

Jeff Bezos is one of the most successful businessmen globally, with a net worth that hovers around the 200 billion dollar mark and several multibillion-dollar businesses and investments. One thing, however, that he has not been able to shake off is his feud with fellow billionaire Elon Musk.
Jeff has been feuding and competing with Musk on many business fronts for a long time, with spats spilling on to social media.
Join us as we explore the latest in Bezos' plan to crush Musk!
Bezos recently join the astronaut club, an exclusive circle that counts less than a thousand members throughout human history. He did this in the company of his brother, Mark, renowned aviation personality Wally Funk and Dutch teenager Oliver Daemen. They all crossed the Karman Line sitting inside the capsule launched by Blue Origin's booster, the New Shepard.
Before the space trip, Bezos' Blue Origin had squabbled with Richard Branson, who had beaten him to the punch 10 days earlier by zooming to space in his company's Virgin Galactic spaceplane VSS Unity.
The bone of contention was whether the flamboyant creator of the Virgin empire did get to space. Blue Origin contended space actually starts from beyond the Karman Line. This imaginary line is about 60 miles from the surface of the earth.
VSS Unity soared to a height of 51.4 miles, but that is enough for NASA and the US Air Force. Given Bezos' competitive streak, it must have irritated him to see another person get to space in a commercial capacity ahead of him.
As expected, Musk featured somehow in the two launches. He did spend the morning with Branson on the day of his flight, perhaps helping to quell the butterfly in his stomach. The British business mogul took to Twitter to thank his friend, Musk, proving billionaires could be pals:
Big day ahead. Great to start the morning with a friend. Feeling good, feeling excited, feeling ready. Watch #Unity22 launch and livestream TODAY at 7:30 am PT | 10:30 am ET | 3:30 pm BST.

When it came to Bezos' turn to go to space, Musk offered only a well-wishing tweet, which is not surprising given the rocky relationship between the two billionaires.

The New Sheppard performed as expected and landed on its legs after separating from the capsule. Bezos returned to earth minutes later, to cheers and quite a lot of Rivian pickups, more on the Rivian pickups in a bit.
The thrill of earning his astronaut wings had barely worn off when reality set in for Bezos. His loss to Musk in the race to build the Human Landing System for NASA's project Artemis was stamped by the US General Accountability Office, GAO, to whom he had rushed to overrule NASA's judgment.
NASA elected to go with SpaceX's proposal, which, at $2.9 billion, cost significantly less than what Blue Origin's team and the third competitor quoted, while also being technically superior.
Blue Origin had complained that NASA erred by not offering multiple awards and not canceling the bid process when it discovered it didn't have enough funds to give out multiple contracts. Tacked to that is Blue Origin's argument that NASA unfairly evaluated the proposals, favoring SpaceX.
However, GAO was having none of that and ruled the HLS contract stays with SpaceX. Work will now begin as the agency and SpaceX race to be ready for the proposed 2024 mission to the moon.
Blue Origin is still pursuing a Human Lander System contract, though, through its plan B of making use of politicians. It is lobbying to have more money given to NASA to award a second Human Lander System contract, hopefully to Blue Origin. Whether the scheme will succeed is yet to be seen.

  • Watch Blue Origin launch and land its space tourism rocket New Shepard in a test flight

Jeff Bezos' space company Blue Origin on Tuesday conducted the latest test flight of its rocket New Shepard at a facility in the West Texas desert. The mission did not have passengers on board, although New Shepard launches with a capsule on top designed to carry as many as six people. Known as NS-13, this mission was the 13th test flight of the system – as well as a record seventh consecutive launch for the rocket booster carrying the capsule, as it has landed six times after prior missions. Jeff Bezos’ space company Blue Origin on Tuesday conducted the latest test flight of its rocket New Shepard at its facility in the West Texas desert.

The mission did not have passengers on board, although New Shepard launches with a capsule on top that is designed to carry as many as six people for a mission. Known as NS-13, this mission was the 13th test flight of the system – as well as a record seventh consecutive launch for the rocket booster carrying the capsule, as it has landed six times after prior missions.

NS-13 was originally scheduled to launch on Sept. 24, but an issue with the rocket’s power supply delayed the mission.

New Shepard is designed to carrying people on a ride past the edge of space, with the capsules on previous test flights reaching an altitude of more than 340,000 feet (or more than 100 kilometers). The capsule spends as much as 10 minutes in zero gravity before returning to Earth, with massive windows to give passengers a view.

While it isn’t carrying a crew, the NS-13 mission featured a number of payloads, such as microgravity experiments and research. Blue Origin said there are 12 payloads on board from paying customers, most notably NASA’s SPLICE (“Safe and Precise Landing – Integrated Capabilities Evolution”) technology demonstration.

SPICE is designed to give spacecraft like lunar landers “artificial eyes,” to help more accurately find areas safe to land. The NASA tech is mounted on the New Shepard booster, and will use a combination of terrain navigation, Doppler lidar, and a descent computer to target the booster’s landing zone. The goal of the SPICE technology is to allow a spacecraft to land autonomously on the Moon’s surface within about 300 feet of its intended target, which NASA describes as a “high accuracy landing.” Blue Origin said that NS-13 is the first of two planned flights with the SPLICE demonstrator on board.

  • Blue Origin VS SpaceX The Fight For Space

Welcome back, Richest fans! Seemingly at every chance they get, Blue Origin and SpaceX will try to outdo each other. The rivalry between the space companies owned by Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos respectively has been increasing every year. Yet recently, it might have further exploded with a moon contract! Today, we’re going to see what happened to cause even more friction between the firms during their race to space. We’ll even look back at instances when the two have publicly clashed.

Now for the spoiler paragraph. If you like surprises, we suggest you stop reading and watch the video multiple times. Firstly, we’ll see how the NASA mission to the moon, known as the Artemis Program, gave SpaceX billions. Yet Blue Origin weren’t going to give up without a fight. However, due to missing out, the Amazon related company then asked for $10 billion from the government. Yet Bernie Sanders is looking to stop that from happening. Next, we’ll see how SpaceX leased a complex at the historic Kennedy Space Center that drew the ire of Blue Origin. We’ll see how Musk’s firm took Bezos’s to court which led to SpaceX’s success with their Falcon 9 rocket. We’ll see the origins of Blue Origin and how venturing into space tourism means they’re auctioning off a seat on the New Glenn. We then have the idea that sparked SpaceX’s creation that seems heavily similar to The Martian. Even though the film came out over a decade later. Finally, we’ll briefly examine one of the most expensive space systems named after Galileo Galilei.

Blue Origin Protest Nasa and Elon Musk Today News.
Let's Find Out In This Video.

There is a space competition going on, and it isn't only between countries.
Two of the world's wealthiest men have been feuding for more than 15 years.
Elon Musk's company, Space X, and Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos' company, Blue Origin, are both competing to get people to the edge of space and beyond.
But it turns out that these people aren't the only ones aiming to get to the common line first, and it appears that another billionaire is ready to do so.
Let's see where NASA fits into all of this rocket rivalry.

Jeff Bezos is the richest man on the planet and the creator of Amazon as well as Blue Origin, an aerospace company that aspires to carry people to the moon.
Elon Musk has served as the CEO of both Tesla and Space X over the years.
A bitter rivalry between these two has led in some nasty name-calling and Twitter spats, but now it appears that Bezos is passing Musk in a huge way, or is he?
In the near future, individuals will be able to travel to the farthest regions of space thanks to Jeff Bezos' new Shepard rocket.

Elon Musk, on the other hand, has expressed interest in joining Japanese entrepreneur Yusaku Mezawa on his trip around the moon aboard the new starship super heavy rocket, which is set to launch in 2023.
Musk has also expressed a desire to go to Mars and spend the rest of his life there, but is Jeff Bezos better than Elon Musk, and how did their competition begin?

By the year 2004, you should be well on your way. Blue Origin and Space X were both still in the early phases of development and had yet to launch any rockets, but Bezos and Musk had met to discuss their reusable rocket goals, and let's just say it didn't go well.
Musk claimed that he tried to advise Bezos but that he was largely ignored.
After that, Musk and Bezos kept their distance, but the rivalry erupted anew in 2013 when both companies wanted to lease the same launch pad from NASA.

Jeff Bezos Plan To SHUT DOWN SpaceX & Elon Musk!

Over the last 15 years, two of the world's most high-profile CEOs, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, have been engaged in a simmering rivalry. Who do you think is right? Or wrong? Comment down below or stick around and let’s unravel it together

The two tycoons have sparred over their space ambitions, Musk runs SpaceX, while Bezos owns Blue Origin, but it hasn't stopped there, Musk has called out Bezos for running what he claimed, a monopoly, and has called Bezos a copycat for his self driving car interests.

Both are two of the most powerful CEOs in the world. Bezos is currently the wealthiest living person and runs Amazon's ever expanding empire while also involving himself in Blue Origin's quest to send people to the moon. Musk is a CEO of both Tesla and SpaceX. Over the years, their not so subtle rivalry has given way to Twitter jabs and name-calling, Quite childish if you ask me. Now, let’s talk a walk down the memory lane of both these gladiators.
Many people have a common misconception that bezos entered the space race scene only for the sake of a potential money-grab opportunity, maybe the following will change your mind

Bezos had always been interested in space. In 1982, He told the Miami Herald, after he graduated as valedictorian, that he wanted to create outer space colonies for millions of people.
As a result of that long-held interest in leaving Earth, Bezos launched Blue Origin in 2000, a new startup focused on human spaceflight.
Around the time Bezos was launching Blue Origin, Musk had already sold Zip2, a startup he launched, to Compaq for roughly 300 million dollars. Musk was in the process of building PayPal, which would later be sold to eBay for 1.5 billion dollars.Musk made about 160 million dollars off the PayPal sale and used that money to launch SpaceX in 2002.
By 2004, both Blue Origin and SpaceX were still in their infancy, neither company had completed any launches yet.But that didn't stop a rivalry from heating up, When the two met to discuss their respective reusable rocket ambitions it apparently did not go well.
I actually did my best to give good advice, which he largely ignored, Musk said after the meeting
From 2004 onward, Musk and Bezos appeared to keep to themselves. But their rivalry resumed once again in 2013 when things became contentious over leasing a NASA launchpad. In 2013, SpaceX tried to get exclusive use of a NASA launchpad. Blue Origin along with SpaceX rival United Launch Alliance filed a formal protest with the government to prevent SpaceX from using the pad, Bezos proposed converting it into a commercial spaceport available to all launch companies.
Musk called the move a phony blocking tactic and took another jab at Blue Origin, saying
Blue Origin has not yet succeeded in creating a reliable suborbital spacecraft, despite spending over 10 years in development, If they do somehow show up in the next five years with a vehicle qualified to NASA's human rating standards that can dock with the Space Station, which is what Pad 39A is meant to do, we will gladly accommodate their needs.
Frankly, I think we are more likely to discover unicorns dancing in the flame duct, he added.
SpaceX eventually won the right to take over the pad.
In 2014, the two companies got into a patent battle when Blue Origin was granted a patent for drone ships, which are used for landing rocket boosters. SpaceX petitioned to invalidate the patent. Blue Origin's ownership of the patent would mean SpaceX would need to pay to use the technology. SpaceX argued that the science in the patent was old hat, given that the concept of drone ships has been around for decades. A judge sided with SpaceX, leading to Blue Origin withdrawing most of the claims in the patent.
In recent years, Musk and Bezos have been more public about their feud, taking their boxing matches, to the public arena of Twitter. Both have grappled on opportunities to take shots at the other, most often sniping at each other over reusable rockets. After Blue Origin successfully landed its New Shepard rocket in 2015, Bezos tweeted a video calling it the rarest of beasts — a used rocket.

  • Does Blue Origin Actually Have A Chance Against SpaceX?

Jeff Bezos has been working on Blue Origin for over 20 years at this point having started way back in 2000. Despite this though, people often discount Blue Origin as SpaceX has relatively made significantly more progress despite having less funding and time. The ongoing feud between Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk hasn't helped Blue Origin's case very much either. Though the sentiment around Blue Origin hasn't been the strongest, Blue Origin has slowly but consistently made progress forward. First of all, Blue Origin has been working on launching Kuiper which is their own version of satellite internet. Aside from this, Blue Origin has also made significant progress with their lunar landers and rockets, New Shepard and New Glenn. This video explains the state of Blue Origin today and why they actually have a bright future within the space industry.

SpaceX vs Blue Origin: Epic space race of Billionaires .Comparing the plans of Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos for space exploration.

Billionaires are now competing with each other over having the most powerful rockets to conquer space. We will be talking about the space-battle of prominent businessmen Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, and their aerospace manufacturer companies named SpaceX and Blue Origin.

SpaceX is the most well-known name in the private spaceflight industry and needs little introduction. It was founded by dotcom billionaire Elon Musk in 2002, with the goal of making humanity multi-planetary. They have repeatedly made ambitious development claims and stunned the world by delivering upon them.

2 years before that, however, in the year 2000, Jeff Bezos, , founded a private spaceflight company called Blue Origin, with the goal of enabling millions of people to live and work in space.

The space exploration technologies being developed by these companies seem to largely overlap, but they are just similar answers to 2 very different questions. Today we’ll be looking at these differences in their approach to spaceflight.

As we all know, the talented and space exploration pioneering firms Blue Origin and SpaceX have a lot in common: ambitions to reduce the cost of travel to space with reusable rockets, affluent Silicon Valley founders, and even staff who have jumped from one company to the other. Their rivalry has shown itself in Twitter spats and legal battles over patents, launch site leases, and, most importantly, lucrative government satellite launch and moon landing contracts. Blue Origin's top talent moving to competition is the most recent kind of rivalry, and it's beginning to look like the hits will never stop for Blue Origin.

With increasing rivalry in the space industry, it appears that Bezos' Blue Origin is always struggling to reach Elon Musk’s SpaceX rank. But is Bezos truly an imitator of Musk? Elon Musk, being the forthright CEO of a few organizations, has used social media to announce his rival and his billionaire companion as nothing more than a copycat. This might appear to be a petty comment from a sober businessman, but closer analysis of Bezos' organizations’ moves reveal something otherwise. Even though it is generally known that Bezos founded Blue Origin even before Musk did, all indications are that SpaceX has far exceeded Blue Origin in the last few years or so. Musk's company has already completed successful launches with at least three distinct rocket designs, and it is a contractor for the National Aerospace Agency, transporting astronauts to space and safely returning them. This is happening simultaneously because Blue Origin has still been working on its first crewed launch rocket to deep space.

Musk TROLLS Jeff after taking the lead in the billionaire race! Blue Origin culture BIG PROBLEM
Musk and Bezos — the two richest men on earth — are embroiled in a billionaire space race. Even before it launched the first tourism mission to space on Inspiration4 in September, Musk's SpaceX won massive NASA and US military contracts and flew the most powerful rocket in operation.
Bezos, who founded Blue Origin in 2000, traveled to space just a few months ago. However, it was still a disappointment for their fans when the rocket couldn’t even reach orbit, or with the series of lawsuits aimed at NASA, which are said to delay humanity’s progress toward the stars.
The lawsuits and constant friction have kept the two companies from seeing eye to eye with each other, Musk especially, who has called Bezos out for lawsuits.
Recently, Elon Musk trolled Amazon’s Jeff Bezos on Twitter earlier today after reclaiming the title of World’s Richest Person, tracked by Forbes. Musk and Bezos have shared a healthy rivalry of banter while consistently swapping the #1 and #2 spots on the “World’s Richest” list.
Bezos, after tweeting a somewhat inspirational statement that was paired with a 1999 article from Barron’s that predicted the downfall of e-commerce giant Amazon, Bezos said: Listen and be open, but don’t let anybody tell you who you are. This was just one of the many stories telling us all the ways we were going to fail. Today, Amazon is one of the world’s most successful companies and has revolutionized two entirely different industries”. And of course, it was met with a simple response from Musk, who simply replied with an emoji of a silver medal.
Musk surpassed Bezos on Forbes list over the weekend, after a share sale agreement with SpaceX accumulated an additional $10 billion to his fortune. Musk’s current net worth places him first on the list with $203.5 billion, making him the only billionaire on the list with a net worth of over $200 billion. Bezos fell to second place with $189.5 billion, suffering a $174 million loss in net worth over the weekend.
However, their relationship is much more complicated than net worth. Their own competing companies have attempted to build rockets that will revolutionize space travel, making it available to everyone and perhaps colonizing other planets for future civilizations. The two, with basically the same goal in mind, would rather strap themselves to a rocket and blast off than admit the other is better.

  • The Elon Musk vs Jeff Bezos Rivalry - What Exactly Is Going On

SpaceX vs Blue Origin Rivalry Explained

    #spacex #blueorigin

Lately, it seems as though the world's two wealthiest billionaires can't seem to get enough of each other. Blue Origin's founder Jeff Bezos, and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, run their own private aerospace companies, which have had quite a few arguments in the last few years.

Musk founded SpaceX, the 19-year-old spaceflight company with nearly 10,000 employees. As for Bezos, Blue Origin is a 21-year-old company with thirty-five hundred employees. And recently, There has been quite a bit of tension between the two companies, with a bit of Richard Branson tossed in the mix.

If you're not too familiar with the billionaire space race, the lovingly-named battle between the billionaires, welcome! This complicated mess of legal ordeals, rivalries, smear campaigns, and lawsuits is really something to be amazed by.

The thing is, there's quite a bit more than just bickering. We're talking multi-billion-dollar contracts, rights to use Apollo-era launch platforms, and much more.

So, what exactly is going on between SpaceX and Blue Origin? Well, the answer is kind of complicated. Think fifteen years, billions of dollars in funding, tons of lawsuits, and multiple government agencies.

  • Blue Origin SHUT DOWN By SpaceX After Losing NASA Contract

Blue Origin SHUT DOWN By SpaceX After Losing NASA Contract.
Between Richard Branson, Elon Musk, and Jeff Bezos, it seems that there is no shortage of super rich men trying to get themselves and their companies into space. Like they do in the world of business, these guys are taking no prisoners and doing whatever it takes to come out ahead - even if it means appealing to the government and fighting one another tooth-and-nail.

This all became very evident recently when Blue Origin’s Jeff Bezos fought a major decision by NASA to reward Elon Musk's SpaceX with one of their biggest contracts yet. Bezos fought as hard as he could, but in the end, it wasn’t enough.

So what was this conflict about? And how does it showcase the modern rivalries among space tech companies?

  • SpaceX Vs Blue Origin : Who Wins The Space Race?

SpaceX Vs Blue Origin: Who Wins The Space Race?
Not going to lie but the world seems to be going from bad to worse with the number of problems that keep arising not getting the same volume of solutions in return. This has become quite problematic as no one is taking responsibility for fixing it. Though the world may not have any superheroes with superpowers, we do have two gentlemen who are quite determined on making things right for our future. Yes, we are indeed talking about Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.

Grab onto your popcorn boxes as we jump right into the video comparing Musk's SpaceX with Bezo’s Blue Origin to see who has the odds rooting in their favor.

SpaceX was founded by Elon Musk in 2002, 2 years after Jeff Bezos started his company Blue Origin. Though both of the companies are Aerospace companies, both of them are built on solving a similar problem using differing approaches. While Elon is focussing on continuing human life on Mars, Bezos is busy trying to create floating space stations that would exist for the purpose of being inhabited by humans and other life forms.

Many times people compare these two engineers and entrepreneurs to the story of the hare and the tortoise claiming the hare to be Elon while Bezos to be the tortoise. We all know how that story plays out at the end of it.

But hey, they are just at the trial and error phase and it will take quite some time to be sure who is more successful than the other. Before we are the judge of that tough competition, let us indulge in great detail on what each of these companies is doing and what problems are they actually targeting.

Jeff Bezos' long feud with SpaceX is heating up, as we all know. After Elon Musk's SpaceX was given a highly wanted contract for a lunar lander, his aerospace business, Blue Origin, filed a lawsuit against NASA.

Blue Origin has been vocal against NASA's choice, after NASA awarded SpaceX a $2.9 billion contract to create a human landing system that will place humans on the moon for the first time in decades, this might occur as early as 2024.

NASA previously stated that it might grant multiple funding contracts for the mission, potentially allowing Blue Origin to compete with SpaceX with its own lunar landing system. However, only SpaceX was awarded a contract in the end.

According to Space News, Blue Origin's federal lawsuit accuses NASA of being unlawful and improper in its review of proposals for its human landing system program.

  • Elon Musk is sending Jeff Bezos a silver medal

Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are caught in a bitter billionaire rivalry, as part of the billionaire space race between spacex vs blue origin. Elon Musk is now the richest person in the world. A title which changes frequently, but now that Elon has over taken Jeff Bezos, he took the chance to rub it in by announcing he is going to send Jeff a silver medal and a giant statue of the number 2. As he continues to troll Jeff Bezos space. Both Billionaires networths change dramatically based on amazon stock or tesla stock prices.
Another jab in an ongoing rivalry that has been building for a while now and turning into a rivalry with more outrageous moments than most high school drama tv shows.
Elon and Jeff actually have so much in common that they seem like they should be best friends and yet it is anything but that, their businesses have been embroiled in several lawsuits lately.
Which has seen Elon tweet that Jeff can’t sue his way to the moon.
He also tweeted that Jeff Bezos retired from amazon to file lawsuits.
Elon becomes the 3rd person to hit the 200 billion US dollar mark.
Bezos was the first person to reach the $US200 billion USD milestone last August. Bernard Arnault, the CEO of LVMH Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, briefly hit that mark more recently.
And between them the richest person title has changed hands a few times recently.
Between April 2020 and April 2021 Elon Musk made 383 million dollars per day on average.
In recent months the rivalry between the 2 billionaires has heated up.
Amazon subsidiary company Kuiper filed a protest letter with the FCC over SpaceX’s plans to expand its Starlink satellite network.
In response, Musk tweeted that Bezos had “retired to pursue a full-time job filing lawsuits against SpaceX.”
The 2 have been in a rivalry for the past 15 years.
A blue origin former employee also just released a letter critiquing the company but one of the issues raised was how Jeff Bezos was obsessed with beating Richard Branson and Elon musk into space.
The letter even went so far as to say Blue origin might have cut corners on safety in order to be the first billionaire in space.
Although there has been non stop back and forths, the last interaction prior to the silver medal email from Elon, Jeff Bezos was actually complimented Spacex on the successful space mission.
Their rivalry actually dates back to 2004. Both Spacex and Blue Origin were in their infancy, both Elon and Jeff were successful CEO’s and business founders but nowhere near the names they are today.
However they both had large ambitions for space travel.
Apparently back in 2004 they met for dinner to discuss their space plans and the meeting did not go well.
According to a book entitled The Space Barons Elon said after the meeting “I actually did my best to give good advice, which he largely ignored,”.
Not much happened for 9 years but in 2013, Spacex tried to get exclusive use of a NASA launchpad.
Blue Origin filed a formal protest to prevent SpaceX from using the pad and Bezos suggested making it “into a commercial spaceport available to all launch companies.”
Which Elon called a “phony blocking tactic”.
“[Blue Origin] has not yet succeeded in creating a reliable suborbital spacecraft, despite spending over 10 years in development,” Elon told Space News.
And questioned whether they could saying “Frankly, I think we are more likely to discover unicorns dancing in the flame duct,”.

Over the last 15 years, two of the world's most high-profile CEOs, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, have been engaged in a simmering rivalry.
The two execs have sparred over their respective space ambitions — Musk runs SpaceX, while Bezos owns Blue Origin — but it hasn't stopped there: Musk has called Bezos a copycat over Amazon's satellite plans and criticized the company's business practices. In return, both Amazon and Blue Origin have filed formal protests and lawsuits about issues that concern SpaceX.
Musk and Bezos are two of the most powerful executives in the world. Bezos is currently the wealthiest living person and just stepped down from running Amazon's sprawling empire — at the same time, he's becoming more involved than ever in Blue Origin, even recently taking a ride on one of his own rockets. For his part, Musk is a dual CEO, manning the ship at both Tesla and SpaceX.
Over the years, their not-so-subtle rivalry has even given way to Twitter spats and name-calling — and things only seem to be escalating.

  • ITS OVER! Why Blue Origin HATES that SpaceX Won The Lunar Lander Award!

It's been intense! It's fast-paced! And, above all, it's bare-knuckled! Drama from the billionaire space race between SpaceX and Blue Origin keeps unfolding like an old romance movie. And between the two companies, we've got one drop-dead gorgeous girl: NASA's moon contract.
Today we bring you an all-inclusive coverage of the fascinating rivalry between SpaceX and Blue Origin. So why is the rift between the two companies intensifying? And, if they are billionaires, why does the NASA contract matter?
Stay with me as we uncover the history of this competition and its implications for the future.
    Now, A little background
For decades Jeff Bezos has had a dream to have people living in a self-sustaining post-world space habitat. So the self-described space geek and sci-fi reader founded Blue Origin in 2000 to fulfill his ambitions. And he has promised to use his rocket company to make robotic rovers and human habitats on the lunar surface and beyond.
In one interview, Bezos is quoted saying:

When the company launched its Crew-2 mission to space, Elon said that:
We don't want to be one of those single planet species; we want to be a multi-planet species,
    NASA's Moon Contract
In 2017, Trump's administration launched Project Artemis. It is a mission whose primary goal is to have the first woman and the next man on the moon for the first time in about 50 years.
Earlier this year, NASA awarded the 2.9 billion-dollar lunar landing project to SpaceX. Elon's company was tasked to build the long-awaited Artemis lunar lander. It is a project that involved three companies: SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Dynetics. And the winner had to have the most creative landing system to be used to ferry astronauts.
The problem is: NASA's decision to give the contract to SpaceX seems to have rubbed Blue Origin the wrong way.

Soon after GAO's announcement, a spokesperson from Blue Origin replied that:
We stand by our assessment that SpaceX received preferential treatment,
Blue Origin hasn't stopped there. They've been busy demonstrating that NASA is wrong and their plans are dangerous. They even published an infographic on their website, taking a dig at Musk's Starship, saying that it is immensely complex and high risk.
It seems Blue Origin won't be giving up on the Human Landing System contract. In fact, Bezos has further offered to give 2 billion dollars to facilitate NASA's project.
Elon Musk, on the other hand, has had a field day mocking Jeff Bezos.
In another tweet, Musk posted a photo of Blue Origin's Blue Moon with a caption saying:
    Somehow, this wasn't convincing

    SpaceX's contract history
SpaceX is no stranger to space race controversy. For example, 17 years ago, a company called Kistler Aerospace was awarded a $227 million-dollar contract by NASA to develop its K-1 rocket and deliver supplies to the International Space Station. The award was given because no other company had a rocket, and Kistler said that its rocket was nearly complete.
And do you know who was enraged by this? You guessed right, Elon Musk. He had just started SpaceX two years earlier. However, Musk believed NASA's decision was due to favoritism, and SpaceX should have been given a chance to compete.

He challenged the decision and, eventually, SpaceX won. NASA quickly realized that GAO would rule in favor of SpaceX and reversed the decision.
SpaceX got one of these contracts in 2006. So these contracts have helped SpaceX a lot in terms of money.

So far, SpaceX has also done five experiments with Starship prototypes to altitudes above 30,000 feet. These experimental 160-foot Starships were fitted with 3 engine raptors compared to the 6 engines we've seen in the latest Starship. However, four of the Starships exploded on landing though the last one nailed its vertical landing at Starbase.

The plan is to launch separately with SpaceX for the moon landing. NASA's Orion Spacecraft will then rendezvous with SpaceX's Starship, which will take off without a crew. They will then dock on the Starship lander, which will land them on the moon for the first time since 1972.
Blue Origin's Blue Moon, on the other hand, is still under development. This is their version of SpaceX's Starship, and Bezos hoped it would be the vessel to take cargo and humans to the moon.

I would like to see your comments on this massive clash of the titans. Do you think NASA favors SpaceX? Does the Starship mission seem hurried and dangerous to you, or is Bezos just the boy who cried wolf?
