  • IT HAPPENED! SpaceX FINALLY Reveals New Starship Droneship in January 2022!

    9:14

When it comes to dreaming, no one does it better than Elon Musk! Likewise, when it
comes to pursuing dreams, you still have to give it up to Musk! He will make the
impossible happen just to get what he wants! For example, to be able to land his
rockets at sea instead of land, Musk uses one of the modern wonders of technology,
drone ships, as platforms! The billionaire CEO has revealed an even bigger and more
powerful Starship droneship in 2022! How powerful is the new droneship, and how will
SpaceX deploy it? In this video, we dive into all the details of the new Starship
droneship 2022 just released by Elon Musk!
However, here is your quick reminder to keep updated by liking our channel and tapping
    the notification icon!
Reusability is a big deal to Elon Musk! In fact, if a rocket is not reusable, Musk does not
want to hear about it! He believes behind able to fly rockets again is the key to
unlocking affordable space launches! The way rockets have been working does not
make sense to Musk because it is a single-use product. That is a lot of money and effort
wasted, hardly an efficient method to run an industry! Musk compared this method of
operating rockets to flying aircraft only once! That would make air flights exorbitantly
expensive! This is precisely what has been going on in the space industry for decades,
but Musk, ever the disruptor, is changing all of that!
This is why its Falcon series of rockets is partially reusable. After separating from the
upper stage, the booster returns to the Earth to be refurbished for another flight! The
financial implications of being able to reuse the Falcon 9, for example, is interesting!
Musk himself revealed how the money aspect works out on Twitter. Michael Baylor,
known as @nextspaceflight, on Twitter posted that United Launch Alliance claimed a
booster had to fly 10 times for reusing it to make sense economically. He noted that
SpaceX had reflown the Falcon 9 six times, apparently thinking the company has four
more flights to go before it could completely recoup its booster investment.
    Show these tweets:

However, Musk corrected Baylor that by reflying a booster three times, you have made
up the cost of the booster! This is not strange because he had earlier revealed that the
booster stage accounted for 60 percent of the total launch costs. So if you can get your
boosters back, it is a big deal! In the same Twitter thread, Musk revealed that a booster
could fly up to 100 times! That is a lot of times to recover a booster!
SpaceX changed the rocket game by recovering its first first-stage booster in 2015. The
success was thanks to a series of upgrades the company provided to its workhorse
Falcon 9. Featuring a more robust thermal protection system, titanium grid fins, and a
more durable interstage, i.e., the part that connects the rocket's two stages, the souped-
up Falcon 9 rocket of today is capable of flying many times over.
Now, recovering a booster is not an easy task because these boosters do land out at
sea! Before we go into how SpaceX recovers its boosters from the sea, why exactly
does SpaceX land its boosters in the sea?
It all comes down to fuel. You need a great deal of fuel to land the first stage on the
ground by reigniting its engine and reducing its speed from more than 8,000 km per
hour or 5,000 miles per hour down to zero! For low-orbit trips, this does not pose much
of a problem. But for more prolonged trips, landing on the ground is not an option.
For example, launches for missions beyond Earth's orbit, like a SpaceX's spacecraft
going to Mars, require a higher velocity and, thus, more speed and less fuel available
    for a landing!
Using a launch in Florida as an example, the rocket goes from Florida and heads East
over the Atlantic Ocean; a sea landing reduces the travel distance back to Earth to
perform a landing, as the rocket doesn't have to travel as far.
This means for more ambitious launches, SpaceX can't return its first stage of the rocket
to land. As Musk put it at a conference, For half our missions, we will need to land out
to sea. Anything beyond Earth is likely to need to land on the ship.
While the main motivation for sea landing is logistics, it is safer to land on the sea
because things can go wrong, resulting in mighty explosions. On land, this could be a
risk to facilities and staff nearby.
So, while landing at sea is more complicated, SpaceX just has to do it!
Now, if you simply drop your rocket into the sea, you will probably lose it to irreversible
damage. This is where a key component of SpaceX's reusable operation, the droneship,
comes in! The space company has three of them. These drone ships are massive

  • Elon Musk: New SPACEX Updates for 2022

    8:27

Elon Musk: New SPACEX Updates for 2022

SpaceX will start in 2022 with their most ambitious endeavor yet, putting a spacecraft into orbit and returning safely to Earth. By the end of 2022, it will have been done more than once to prove a point, with a launch and landing frequency of once every two weeks. There is a lot to do in that short amount of time, but if it pays off, SpaceX will be able to do pretty much anything they want in space— fly to the moon, fly to Mars, put a Cybertruck on the surface of Europa, and so on. The potential of SpaceX in the coming years is so far beyond anything we have ever seen before; it is almost like science fiction come true.

In this video, we will see why SpaceX is capable to overcome humanity’s single greatest obstacle and make life multi-planetary.

In the Q&A session with Elon Musk at the CEO Council Summit, Elon Musk has been treading a fine line between making people excited about the future and conceding that this undertaking will be difficult. Elon answered to a query about the progress of the spacecraft. Starship is a hard, hard, hard, hard project, he said, because it aims to be a fully reusable super heavy lift rocket that can not only deliver massive amounts of payload to Earth's orbit but also to other planets in our solar system, and even transport large crews of people, preferably 20, to the moon and mars, and return them home—all with a two-stage rocket that is 100 percent reusable with no refurbishment time in between. He came to the conclusion that the project is absurdly complex, even questioning whether they can complete it. He also confesses that for now, spaceship is absorbing more mental energy than anything else.

Elon is taking this very seriously. In fact, in late November, a highly scathing communication from him to the SpaceX team was leaked. In his note, he stated that the company's raptor engine manufacturing was in jeopardy, and he predicted the worst, presuming SpaceX can figure out how to produce a significant supply of trustworthy engines. If we don't accomplish a Starship flight rate of once every two weeks next year, we face a genuine risk of bankruptcy, Elon Musk said. The raptors are so important to the starships because the very heavy booster that launches the ships into space with its 100-ton cargo requires 33 of these engines to attain maximum capacity, plus six more on the second stage of the starship. As to our knowledge, a few of explosive failures are possible before SpaceX can successfully land both the launcher and the ship. Hundreds of raptors could be scrapped if the process is as tough as Elon has predicted. To be completely reusable, a starship must be enormous in size. As a result, SpaceX will require a large number of engines to support the starship's massive size.

It is true that nuclear thermal rockets have an impressive performance. In addition to their specific impulse being up to three times that of chemical rockets, they can produce comparable amounts of thrust and they can be modified to use a variety of propellants, from CO2 to ammonia.

In the future, these systems should reduce travel times in space, be able to move much larger payloads, and refuel with whatever fluid is available at their destination. This is why tech icon Mr. #ElonMusk is tryna convert his latest #SpaceX #Starship into a Nuclear one.

  • IT HAPPENED! Elon Musk FINALLY Reveals New Cargo Starship 2022!

    8:37

    Thumbnail Credit: SpaceXVision (Bought Clip)

SpaceX's Starship is destined to go into deep space. It will transport humans to Mars,
making it the farthest traveled crewed spacecraft ever! However, apart from transporting
people, the Starship will have another huge function: transporting cargo! As Elon Musk
has revealed, transporting cargo with the powerful Starship requires a different
configuration! How much can the Starship carry, and how will SpaceX deploy it for
cargo transport? Join us as we explore the new Starship Cargo transport as revealed by
    SpaceX!
Humans have been carrying cargo since the beginning of humanity! Global commerce
requires that large volumes of freight move from one part of the world to another! In fact,
each year, about 11 billion tons of cargo is moved by ship, meaning 1.5 tonnes for each
person alive today! That is just by ship because billions of tonnes more are moved by
    air, rail, and road!
The need to move cargo, however, is not limited to the earth! When cargos are moved
to space, they are usually called payloads, and they vary in nature. Some companies
launch satellites, including SpaceX, which is launching Starlink satellites to orbit to
provide internet services to people everywhere on earth! It has about 2,000 Starlink
satellites up there already and won't stop until there are more than 12,000 orbiting the
earth! SpaceX even delivers cargo to the International Space Station for NASA!
Musk has set his eyes on the cargo transport sector and plans to revolutionize it! He will
do so both in space and on the earth! How will he do this? Musk has a not-so-secret
weapon: the Starship! It is not secret because you can follow along with how the
Starlink is taking shape right on YouTube through 24 hour cameras! However, while
your mind will be blown by the massive work the SpaceX crew is doing, you will be
more amazed by the plans that Musk has for the Starship in the cargo transport
industry, as you shall see in this video! But first, what makes the Starship a good vehicle
for transporting large cargo? At least four things!
First is that the Starship is very powerful. In fact, it is the most powerful rocket ever to be
built! The rocket produces 72 MN of trust, thanks to its collection of Raptor engines!
With this much power, the Starship can lift more than 100 tons of cargo to space,
handily beating every other rocket, including the Falcon series! This extraordinary
capacity makes the Starship the darling of the cargo hauling industry as it will allow you
to carry as much as you want!
Secondly, the Starship has a large volume, allowing it to fit in cargos of different sizes!
The payload volume is a massive 1,100 meter cubed and can fit a load up to 18 meters
in height and 9 meters in width, much more than what other rockets offer currently!
The third is speed! The Starship moves at a blistering speed of 16,777 miles per hour!
This will allow it to cover long distances in a short time! To put this speed in proper
context, the typical commercial passenger jet flies at a speed of about 400 to 500 knots,
which is about 460 to 575 miles per hour! There really is no contest here, as the
Starship will leave all cargo aircraft in the dust!
There is one other important reason that makes the Starship perfect for transporting
cargo, and it is the cost! Rockets have traditionally been one expensive method to
transport cargo, and that is because of how they operate! They are basically one-use
items, meaning you discard the rocket after each launch! Imagine being able to use
your car once! That means you need to purchase a new vehicle each time you need to
go out! Anyway, with rockets being so expensive to build, transporting cargo with them
    has remained very expensive!
Musk, however, is working his way around that limitation! The Starship is fully reusable,
meaning you can operate it like airlines do with their planes! SpaceX had been working
towards this full reusability with the Falcon rockets, which are partially reusable. The
company salvages their booster, refurbishes them, and fires them up again! In the case
of the Starship, the two stages can be reflown many times! In fact, Musk expects the
booster to be ready for another flight in under an hour!
With this reusability, the cost of launches crashes to about 2 million dollars, a lot less
than the competition is doing! Yet, this is just the starting point because Musk plans to
    drive the cost down further!
So, how will Musk use the Starship for transporting cargo? There are two areas of
application that Musk is considering! The first is space cargo movement!
Musk himself plans to use the Starship extensively for his Mar co

    Renderhell:

Space…the final frontier that is yet to be conquered by humanity. The race to make humankind a multi-planetary species is being led by SpaceX. Elon Musk was the first to envision that the next step to human progress was to conquer the stars and colonize another planet. Elon Musk chose the red planet ―Mars as the first target for human colonization. In 2017, when Elon first proposed this huge undertaking, his goal was to get the first boots on the ground on Mars by 2022. Since then, Elon has pulled back to a more realistic 2024 timeline to reach the Red Planet. Let bore deeper into Elon Musk’s Insane New Plan to reach Mars by 2024.
    Starship: a Big Falcon Rocket
After first revealing his plans to land on the red planet and colonize it. The first challenge Elon musk faced was how to get people and cargo there. Mars is not really in our immediate neighborhood; it is on average about a whopping 140 million miles away from earth. This is a huge distance to cover for a human-bearing rocket. Just to give scale to this distance, the moon is about 240,000 miles away.
But the silver lining to this is that Mars and Earth's orbits do come very close to each other periodically, this event happens every two years. The event is called a close approach when Earth and Mars are nearest to each other. At this point, the distance between our home and the red planet is about 33.9 million miles. The next close approach will happen in the winter of 2022. Hence Elon Musk’s original timeline for a 2022 target for the first mission to Mars. The windows after that will happen in 2024,2026, 2026, and so on.
With these goals and timelines in mind, SpaceX started the development of the Big Falcon Rocket. This would be a 180-foot-tall spaceship, including three protruding fins, that sits atop a 230-foot-tall rocket booster. The plan was to make the rocket fully reusable and cut down the cost of each launch significantly.
In November of 2018, the project was renamed Big Falcon Heavy to Starship. This is a two-stage rocket and is composed of a booster stage named Super Heavy and a second stage, which is the Starship itself.
Starship is currently being powered by its Raptor engines, which can produce a thrust of 2 Mega Newtons. Starship is designed with the ability to re‑enter Earth's atmosphere and land on a designated landing pad. The spacecraft is also designed to be able to perform automatic rendezvous and docking operations and on‑orbit propellant transfer between Starships.
SpaceX’s facility at Boca Chica in Texas is developing the current generation of Starship Model SN15. Which has been named the Starbase. Since it is planned to host the facility to mass manufacture SpaceXs starships. The plan is to build 1000 starships over 10 years once the facility starts its mass manufacturing process, that is around 100 Starships every year!

One small step for a human, one giant leap for humankind

Elon Musk in January revealed he had plans to get 1 million people on Mars by 2050. To achieve this ambitious goal, he has plans to launch at average 3 starships a day. But before we talk about colonization, let us look at the first manned mission to Mars.
We have already successfully landed unmanned missions to Mars. In fact, our first successful landing was in 1971 when the Soviet Unions Mars 3 mission landed on the red planet. Since then we have had multiple mars, rovers roaming the red planet collecting scientific data. But transporting a human crew to and back from Mars is a whole new challenge.
The first obstacle is the time since the distance to the red planet is very large. This means very long mission times for the human crew to be shut inside a cabin being hurled through space. The shorter Mars mission plans have round-trip flight times of 400 to 450 days. These can even be cut shorter with 245 days round trip by using on-orbit staging methods. These are still very long periods to sustain living conditions for the astronauts.
SpaceX’s crewed Mars flight looks something like this.
Phase 1, Starship launches with Super Heavy booster. Booster separates after delivering Starship to orbit and returns to Earth for future reuse.
Phase II, Starship enters Earth’s orbit while a refilling tanker launches to mate with Starship in orbit. Starship then uses tanker vehicles (essentially the Starship spacecraft minus the windows) to refill the Starship spacecraft in low-Earth orbit prior to departing for Mars. Refilling on-orbit enables the transport of up to 100 tons all the way to Mars. Tanker after refueling returns to earth, for future reuse.

The exploration of space is an exciting venture. It has been sixty years since we discovered the vast emptiness we call SpaceX, a concept that we are still trying to grasp. Elon Musk is an explorer at heart and has always been passionate about space; he has even discussed his dream of dying on Mars, not from crashing upon impact. Musk is passionate about having humans colonize Mars and live on it. The Starship is vital to realizing this goal, but Musk doesn’t seem to be content about the spacecraft's speeds in space. It takes five months to make the journey from Earth to Mars, and you can’t just launch at any time; you have to wait until both planets are almost aligned in space. Elon Musk wants to reduce the amount of time spent on the journey to about 100 days using a method not previously employed in space. Join us today as we talk about the new nuclear starship. We’ll look at how such a system works and how it affects space travel.

Space travel is not an easy feat; it takes years of planning and a great deal of time to develop and fine-tune all the equipment needed for these explorations. SpaceX is relatively new to space exploration, but it moves and develops incredibly fast. They are racing against time, and the world is holding its breath, waiting for the private space exploration company to complete a milestone that would change how we look at space travel forever. There are many people dependent on the success of SpaceX and its Starship rocket.
The CEO of SpaceX, Elon Musk, is nursing his dream of having humanity colonize another planet, Mars in particular. But without the success of the Starship rocket system, all those dreams will never become a reality. In today’s video, we’ll talk about SpaceX’s plans to launch the Super Heavy in January 2022. The actualization of this goal will be a vote of confidence for everyone invested or dependent on the success of the Starship rocket system, and it will mark the first test flight of the rocket system into orbit.
The Starship is remarkable; it is a fully reusable rocket that will reduce the cost of space travel by a considerable margin. The Starship spacecraft can transport over 100 people into space. It will be capable of revolutionary features like refueling in space. It can be converted to transport just cargo and land at a designated spot. Elon Musk and his team have designed one of the strangest landing techniques we have ever seen. The starship will fall back to earth using propulsion to keep itself upright and vertical before landing on mechanical arms on the launch tower. The Starship is vital to the future of space travel, but it is not complete without its second stage, the Super Heavy.

SpaceX began constructing a space suit for astronauts to wear inside the Dragon 2 space vehicle in February 2015.
After a watchdog investigation revealed that NASA's current space suit program is behind schedule and will cost more than $1 billion, Elon Musk volunteered SpaceX's services to assist the agency in developing its next-generation spacesuits. “SpaceX could do it if need be,” Musk wrote in a tweet.
SpaceX did not reply to a request for comment from CNBC on whether it had started developing its own spacesuits. While the company hasn't made its spacesuit ambitions public, it is one of roughly 50 businesses that have indicated an interest in NASA's initiative to buy privately designed spacesuits and spacewalk services.

SpaceX's first orbital Starship 20 has just been attached to the Martian Crane. Ship 21 moved out of the mid bay for the third time!
What is really next for them?

Now let’s get back to today’s content:

    (Ship 20)
Yesterday, at the orbital launch site, the load spreader attached to the Martian Crane, and it's now attached to ship 20.
There was a lot of anticipation about it.
However, everything soon became clear. Interestingly, SpaceX may have attached the crane to Starship 20 solely for maximum safety while workers put the finishing touches on its umbilical panel. None of the shiny frames now around it was visible on S20 just a few days ago.
This is not the first time SpaceX did this. SpaceX attached the same crane to B4 a few days ago so technicians could depressurize it and work inside its tanks. Now I haven't actually seen S20's tanks opened today but maybe it had to be depressurized to finish or modify its umbilical panel and Aerocover.
But let's not ignore the possibility that they will move Ship 20.
Road Closure Scheduled for today Tuesday, January 18 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Let's wait and see what they will do in this rather long time frame!
SpaceX's Crane attached Ship 20 Ready to MOVE, S21 new update.
    (Ship 21, 22. Booster 7)
Meanwhile, in the Build site, Ship 21 tanks section moved out of Midbay, standing now next to the Highbay, we don't know what's exactly the SpaceX team are planning, maybe stacking the nose cone, but there is little space inside the Highbay with all the sections of Super Heavy Booster 7.
What do you think about this?

    ========
It seems that what we’ve seen from sci-fi in terms of onboard AI assistants the likes of EDI from BioWare’s popular scientific role-playing shooter Mass Effect or Cortana, the combat AI that assisted the legendary Spartan 117 Master Chief from the Halo franchise, is no longer a pipe dream as Amazon Alexa, a virtual assistant technology, could be used by astronauts on Orion on the Artemis 1 mission launching no earlier than March of this year.
How crazy is that? Hey google, how crazy is that?
But, how will it work? Safely, I hope!
Let's find out more on today's episode of Great SpaceX!

First, Lockheed Martin announced on Jan. 5 that it has been working with Amazon and Cisco on a project called Callisto that will be flown on the Artemis 1 mission launching no earlier than March.
Callisto will serve as a demonstration to see how Amazon’s Alexa technology and Cisco’s Webex teleconferencing platform could be used on future crewed missions.
The product of combining both company's efforts would allow astronauts to use voice commands to access data, adjust spacecraft controls, and interact with teams while on the surface.
Rob Chambers, director of commercial civil space strategy at Lockheed Martin, said in an interview that they “want to show that this type of technology can help astronauts with some of those unique human interface technologies, making their jobs simpler, safer, [and] more efficient.”

Blue Origin loses the legal case against NASA on the Human Landing System, but what does that mean? Delays on Crew 3 for medical reasons and weather. A few quick updates on Ariane 6 to talk about which is the successor to Ariane 5. Is this next rocket in development going to compete with the insane innovation going on around the world or not? Then we have a flood of Falcon Heavy launches coming soon. The next year is going to be incredibly exciting.

  • Elon Musk REVEALS Huge SpaceX Starlink UPDATE!

    8:29

Elon Musk REVEALS Huge SpaceX Starlink UPDATE!
With its network of almost 2000 users satellites, Starlink is providing broadband internet to more than half a million users across 14 different countries. Its network of crafts is set to grow to twelve thousand as Musk claimed back in October 2019 that 100,000 terminals had been shipped out. These numbers are bound to grow as the system is set to leave beta status in October 2021. The value proposition is high-speed internet to the remote places of the earth where it was previously unheard of. Musk claims that the speed can reach up to 100 Mbps downloading and 20bps uploading. What are the company’s plans for October and how will it affect the end-users? Is Starlink the only company providing this type of service and what customers is it targeting?
The video today will go over what Elon Musk has recently shared about Starlink and its plans for the very sudden future. Then we will discuss the constraints faced by the company and all the competition it has in the market. The last part of the video will go over how the service has changed the lives of many and what sort of users it is targeting. Here’s a quick reminder that you can subscribe for free and like the video so that we can boost the algorithm. Comments are most welcomed and the best ones will get featured in one of our upcoming videos
    Starlink’s October Plans
According to Elon, his Starlink satellite internet service is planning to leave its status of open beta in October. The reach of this program will become global by using the expanding network of satellites which is aimed to reach 4200 in the future. It will be a golden opportunity for those residing in remote areas where high-speed broadband is unheard of. They will only need a dish receiver and a wireless router to get the signals wherever they are. The world’s leading astronomers were also kept in the loop while developing this project so that concerns of light pollution could be dealt with.
Starlink makes use of almost 2000 satellites sent to orbit. It has only been in the open beta phase for around one year and the number of people signed on to the network has risen to more than 500,000. This may be an unmatched opportunity but the price of the hardware may be out of the budget for many. Even with this, the signing up process is not easy for now as the time to get a dish could be very long because so many backorders are in line.
The revelation that Starlink will be exiting the beta phase in October was given by Elon Musk himself in a tweet last week.
He is yet to spill some beans on exactly when will the beta status be lifted or will there be any changed t the hardware, performance, or software.
Customers can sign up on the website but there is a disclaimer awaiting them there. The company has made it clear that they will only be catering to a limited number of users for a specific area. It means that people may find that their area is booked fully hence they cannot proceed with their order and pay the deposit. The website also says that the processing time can go up to six months or longer
    constraints and Competition
Starlink is a major game-changer for all internet service providers but it is constrained by its capacity issue. It is yet to become much of an issue to other terrestrial alternatives until it can beef up its system. The company plans to cope with these issues very soon as it is planning to send thousands of more satellites. Currently, it is allowed by the FCC to send a total of more than 4800. Since the test launch of two satellites in February 2018, the company has constantly been sending more to the earth’s orbit and even 60 at a single time.
Beta users have shown a very ease of usage as there is no data cap. customers have reported that the software does not show total bandwidth consumption but it is not sure how things will play out once it exits beta testing.
Starlink is not the only one in the satellite internet service game as there are two more companies. One of them is yet to launch while the other is fairly well along its way. OneWeb is a London-based firm that aims to provide internet via its network of 650 satellites. The company found itself in a chapter 11 bankruptcy filing and recovered after getting a substantial investment from the British government. OneWeb has just completed its ten launches and has sent almost 322 crafts in orbit on the non-reusable Russian Soyuz rockets.
The company has not yet disclosed its pricing structure but has boosted its internet speed at many media events. Download speed can go up to 400 Mbps while uploading can reach 50 Mbps.
Jeff Bezos is running his project called Kuiper under Amazon. It has gotten the FCC approval for a constellation of 3236 satellites in July 2020. The company is required to have half of them up and running by the middle of 2026.
